“JoAnns is the place to go for good food. I had a Mushroom Burger with fries. This small hole in the wall closes at 2pm. Then they reopen from 6pm-9pm with a Mexican menu. Parking is a little tough but be patient JoAnns will be worth it. There is inside or outside seating & wheelchair accessible. The service is good, food is excellent. There are also daily specials on a Chalk board inside. There are also fresh bakes muffins. This is a must try one time restaurant.”

“Seriously delicious coffee ☕️. My latte was perfect. Cute outdoor seating. Very friendly staff who honestly made a DELICIOUS cup of coffee, and I take my coffee seriously 😋 My daughter had a vegan latte with oat milk, and hers was perfect too. Pricey but worth it. Never go to Starbucks again.”

“SO many amazing vegan options in a town not otherwise known for vegan options. In fact, we wished we had more time in Avalon so we could have tried more! You can do your own custom made breakfast sandwich with vegan egg, sausage and Violife cheese, your own custom made pizzas, they even have amazing vegan sides such as creamy corn and roasted veggies. Did I mention avocado toast? Vegan donuts and brownies? So tasty too and a beautiful courtyard to eat in,”

“Great Starbucks! There is never a dull day at this Starbucks! The staff is very polite and friendly, regardless of how busy they are, and trust me they get very busy here! Quick service, the cafe is clean, and Tim does an excellent job of managing. 5 star experience!”

“Tips: Street parking is limited since the tea shop is located on the first floor of the apartment complex. There are a few spaces reserved for guests and future residents but it is always packed. Drive past the reserved area (through the garage and out) and park in the back of the complex. There are plenty of spaces there. Menu: Tea selections consist of original tea, fresh milk, fruit tea, traditional tea, and cheese macchiato Only a few selections of toppings - Boba, aiyu, pudding, grass jelly, red bean, oatmeal and cheese foam. Taste: We order a few drinks under the fresh fruit section. Passion fruit green tea came with generous amounts of fresh passion fruit seeds and Aiyu jelly. Honey Lemon Oolong tea is packed with the bold flavor of Oolong tea but it is still a bit too sweet even at 30% sugar. Price: The beverage cost roughly $6 per drink for a medium size and some at $7 for a large. Each topping is $1.00 to $1.50. Overall, the shop offers premium tea drinks with modern decor and Instagram-worthy photo opportunities. 🫢 However, I won't make a special trip out there unless I was hitting costco across the street and was in need of keeping up my boba tea lifestyle. The drinks are a bit over priced in my opinion especially when there are similar tea shops in the area.”

“The new owner of the store Manny is excellent! I love his attitude and customer service. I had to get a cookie cake made for a friends birthday and I ordered it last min, Manny was so helpful and got it done right in time! I also bought some extra cookies and they were so fresh, soft and chewy! I'll be back whenever I am in the area for more cookies!”

“This is one of a few places around that have a grapefruit tea and I think it is particular to this franchise location. I love a grapefruit tea and this one comes with star shaped lychee pieces. It's so good. They also have a new mango mochi waffle that is quite tasty.”

“Very expensive bakery but worth it. If you like macaroons, come here! Strong flavor, a little chewy with the crunch when you first bite into. Coffee and tea drinks are okay. Not many seats but you can take your pastries/drinks and eat at the Main Street park. I just found out that afternoon tea is being offered at this location 🥳 Can't wait to try it out!”

“Great bakery with great staff! They also have some new matcha drinks at 85C that taste actually good! Highly recommend them! Much better than many if not most coffee shop matcha lattes. The bread here is quite soft and delicious too with many options! Highly recommend checking out in this area!”

“Really good place to chill or study. Lots of tables and outlets. They open till 10pm every weekday and weekends so it's great for studying. Im not a hot coffee guy so I only get cold brew, everything tastes good, a little bit better than Starbucks even. The desert bar tho, that's where it's at. Croissants, cheesecakes brownies etc, tastes great and super affordable.”

“Best donuts I’ve ever had! I absolutely love cake donuts and theirs are on point. They also do not leave that gross grease stain on the box & weird grease aftertaste in my mouth that most donuts give me. They obviously use a much better quality oil/fry system. You can definitely tell the difference in the taste for sure! I also love to support local small family ran businesses. Definitely give them a try!”

“I wish they had had more flavors of ice cream. The scoops are also really small. The bubble waffle tastes amazing, I think it's very egg based, tastes so good. The fosselmans matcha ice cream tastes like pistachio, maybe they use the same base.”

“I was working overtime and this spot was close by. Got me an excellent coffee with a protein box. Definitely a Solid spot to get my protein egg box along with a Honey Almond Milk latte. The coffee was amazing and The protein box was great with the fruit being pretty fresh. A great combo to start of the morning and get your sustenance. Definitely a great spot to get your coffee but parking is limited.”

“I really enjoy coming here for breakfast. There’s typically always space right away for me to sit down, whether it’s inside or outside, I’m not picky. The food is fresh, flavorful and portioned pretty large. The menu has tons of options and they never have had any sort of issue taking special orders when I bring other people who have pickier dining preferences. The prices are set properly too. I will continuing to come here as it is a very good restaurant in west sac.”

“I came here for a quick bite and some coffee. It’s a very large Starbucks with a lot of room to sit or stand. The employees are nice and it’s clean. There’s a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The parking is a bit odd, but there’s a large lot adjacent that it shares with other businesses. Overall quick and easy to get to, and a good place for a snack.”

“This review is strictly for the Fruit Freeze. They also sell alkaline water, health products and coffee/tea. The store is full with display of items. I kept seeing posts and reels for Water & Salt and had to come and try it. The store is located in West Sac, off of W Capitol Ave. There is a private parking lot with ample parking spaces. We were overwhelmed with the large menu and options. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful and ask me what I like. She suggested the Mango Fruit Freeze with Gunther matcha green tea ice cream in between. Wow, it was so delicious and cold! Definitely a summer treat for me. I would like to come back and try the Hawaiian shaved ice that everyone is raving about. It sounds like they are just as good as the one we get from Hawaii. They have a small seating area outside the store, but honestly I just didn't feel comfortable sitting out there. The location is a bit sketchy for me. I'm also not familiar with West Sac. Anyway, we took our sweet treat back to the car and thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“The barista that helped me today really impressed me. She took interest in asking me what were my plans for the day and was genuinely polite & kind. I wanted a hot coffee with a sweet carmel taste so she suggested an cafe' americano. Mmmmm...at first it wasn't sweet enough so she suggested adding some vanilla cream and extra carmel. ( Double Mmmm.) Her name was Katie I think. Thank you”

“2023.08.31 - Love this place they've got the best coffee. Today I had a Mayan coffee - back and available. Yum! 2023.06.10 - Weekend visit. Just tried the latte with 2% and it was quite good. March 2023 - All the pastries good and the drinks and that you've even got some cold pressed juices. For a limited time starting in February 2023 they've got a white mocha with strawberry that is delicious.”

“Drinks were good but espensive, but thats theme park prices for you. I asked what time they open and they told me 9:30. Their hours are on the Knotts Berry Farm website apparently. I was upset about the price of water cups, but they explained that they recently had to stick to the tiny water cup policy that Knotts has. Thats why they have to charge for the cups, not the water. They also don't take stars or rewards, which was disappointing as I really wanted to buy a cup with them. The Boysenberry flavor wasn't available here anymore here either. They told me that Starbucks cancelled the raspberry syrup they used to make it. Overall, I really appreciated their transparency with me. To be honest, I wouldn't go again just because it is expensive but I was glad they were there. I needed my coffee 😆”
