“I'd like to share my most recent experience. I actually had a huge leak which caused my bill to be more than double. I called in and the representative, Becky whom recommended that I setup leak alerts notification. I told Becky that she saved me and that I was going to spread the word in my community. Becky was very helpful, took her time to explain everything to me. She mentioned how to utilize consumption reports. Becky deserves recognition for what she's done. She did not mention the contest going on but I did go online to look at the consumption report for myself and that's when I noticed the current contest. Since I was already going to tell all my neighbors might as well try to win contest. It's pretty cool they have incentives like this to help the community save water. Another staff member reached out to me, Kait, and gave me a link to possibly correct some of the billing issues since there was a month long water leak at my house. The form was for "leak adjustment". It was noted that it's not guaranteed I'd see results/changes but I'm happy that they reached out and offered to help. Thanks again for everything Team Diablo Water District.”

“I was there in the Mid 90s for maybe a year or so before I was placed in Orange County Youths Center group home. Call me weird but I can say I enjoyed being there since I feel I had freedom to do as I wanted. Never was one of those kids that ran away since i was given a place to sleep and eat. My other siblings were there as well but don’t think they shared the same feelings about being there. I will donate to kids that are there if I can as I want to give back.”

“I had to go because of a jury summons. But I haven't been feeling well and had lots of things on my mind, so I was completely out of sorts. Which leads me to my entrance and the metal detectors, which I COMPLETELY forgot to factor into my visit. (Just about everything I had on was metal!) Thankfully, the guards who work there are kind and helpful (and extremely patient because I kept forgetting all the metal I was wearing, yet they just smiled and had me move to the wand-bearer, who laughed with me on my forgetfulness as he passed the wand over me). The lawyers... well, they're lawyers, right? 😉 Rather rude and detached as if deigning the lowly commoners (read: anyone who's NOT a lawyer) a mere smile or nod of recognition would make them ill. Oh, well. 🤷♀️ Anyway, that's all I can say about my day at the courthouse.”

Fortunately a snow plow driver from CALTRANS helped me to start my car and to find a safer way home. I am so appreciate your help.
