“I am beyond grateful and amazed at all the work it took to move Christmas in the Park to History Park. If Christmas in the Park wasn't already unique enough to San Jose, now it's added to History Park, which holds so much of San Jose's past. It was a feats for the eyes. Make sure to follow the music and the lights - they're synched. If I had to choose 3 favorites , it would be the Spirit of 45 display, the gas ⛽ station, and the "You Matter" tree”

“The trolley barn and trolley rides at History San Jose are a classic. The Trolly Corp. has an original trolley that ran in San Jose until the 50s, it's fully restored. A definite stop for families with kids or people who love local history.”

“Cool place that is the last piece of what was an enormous ranch extending all the way to Mission San Jose. Open to the public the last Sunday of every month. Very cool bit of history and great for kids to experience, as they usually have some interactive activities for them. People working there are always very friendly and happy to share with visitors.”

“Another item scratched off my bucket list. Was taken on a tour by Gordon and had a fantastic time. Very knowledgeable. Great feeling being able to see and sit in the vehicles that started my passion to be a Firefighter/Paramedic when I was 14 years old. I retired 9 years ago after a 31 year career. I owe it all to the LA County Fire Department and "Emergency".”

“Tours LED by very knowledgeable docents the first Saturday of every month. Learned a lot about the early history of Elk Grove (including how ironic it is that the historic old Town district was originally known as "new Elk Grove"). Outlying buildings include a blacksmith's shop and jail. Nicely planted gardens.”

“We love this SVLS! We made it to the Christmas event this year. My three year old loves to ride the train, got to sit on Santa's lap, then we all had hot cocoa and cookies before taking the train ride back to the station. All the volunteers are always warm and welcoming.”

“My experience here was AWESOME! My nail tech Helen did a wonderful job on my nails & took the time to fix the damage someone else did. I'm so picky about paying money for a service that should be done right & she did not disappoint at all. I even let her have free range on what my nail design should be & it came put sooooooo beautiful. I'm a truck driver so this will always be my one & only place I get my nails done. Period! Thank you!”
