I went back to her to cut my locks since I had such a great experience the first time, and my hair is exactly how I was hoping. She remembered I mostly wear my hair braided and took that into consideration with the layering and to have only met her once before and have her remember such details felt like I was with a friend. “What a cool, unique little shop with pottery and blown glass pieces. Their handcrafted objects make great gifts. It’s a great variety from plant pots, coffee mugs, plates, dishes to magnets and vases. You can also attend classes for glass blowing or making pottery. Just be aware that it takes a couple weeks/months for the shop to finish your pottery with a glaze.”

“My husband and I were on the road traveling last June and camping nearby when our 15-year-old beagle had a seizure while on his morning walk. We took him to Peak To Peak because they were open early and only a few miles from our camp. The receptionist got us in to see the doctor right away. We ended up making the decision that we’d been struggling with for a time before the trip and unfortunately had to put our pup down. The receptionist gave me, a complete stranger, a big hug which showed so much empathy. The compassion that was offered from the receptionist and doctor on that horrible day was so welcome and that kindness will not be forgotten. Another patient was sitting in the waiting room and told us that his family decided to get paw prints made of their pets and they were so happy they did. He highly recommended that we do too. We had a paw print made and sent to us along with his ashes and we’re so glad that we did. It was beautifully done and now we have a keepsake along with his ashes. Both the paw print and the urn containing his ashes came with his name on them. Ultimately, we are very glad that we chose Peak To Peak Animal Hospital.”

“Beautiful landmark, only accessible on foot from either Rollinsville or Winter Park sides (road is thoroughly barricaded, enough to probably stop a battle tank from cruising through), but it's an easy walk from where the vehicle part of the road ends. Can peak over the barricades inside (don't go in!), and climb up the trail on to the top for beautiful views. A great spot to check out in summer. Note that Rollins Pass road can be blocked with a meter or more of snow until July, and may not be accessible for the majority of the year aside from August-September.”

“The hike to Arapahoe peak is no joke. Elevation gained a 3000 ft and you feel it every single step. A good scramble to the top with tons of marmots running around sunning themselves. I'm pretty in shape and I was shocked that it took us a little over 6 hours for the out and back of 9 miles! That has been the most beautiful hike I've probably ever taken a Colorado in 12 years.”
