“We stayed here for 4 nights. It was easy to find, and very well kept. There was no cable, but that was forewarned on the website due to construction. I cannot fault them for expanding and improving the park. It is close to all things Colorado Springs. The pool and splash pad were a hit with my granddaughter! We plan to stay again when we come visit family. In fact, said family requested that we do. The staff was so helpful and pleasant.”

“Best sporting club out there! We will be members for a long time. The property is beautiful with options for upland and waterfowl hunts. We have been utilizing the property and birds to train my pup. It great to have several fields to provide different levels of challenge. Staff is super kind and very helpful. Big thank you Charlie, Daniel, and Ali.”

“The best part about this place is it's got a the campsites are spread out quite a ways from each other you don't have neighbors right on top of you and the showers are hot”

“Lived here for over 3 years as a war era veteran in transition from homelessness - after a hit and run driver almost killed me over 5 years ago.... .... after I stopped in to tell them my story and inquire about prices, Gina made sure that I was on the reservation list for a cabin. (I had just gotten a job at Goodwill, but was living in my pickup truck). After a few months of living in my truck (in winter) & working at Goodwill, Gina called me with the news of an available cabin! I was sure I had been forgotten (like all the other times), BUT NO!! - Pueblo West Campground is run by people who really care about people.... Pueblo West Campground is currently under updates and improvements all across the property. I see major investments in all of the grounds & facilities - and it shows. Pueblo West Campground is a nice RV park that also has horse boarding, a bicycle & motocross track, a quiet & safe environment, with a strong "neighborhood watch" security, - and shopping just a walk away.... If you're passing through, check them out. No disappointments. Right on the foothills of the Rocky mountains. A 1/2 hour from the campground & full of the local history of the West, Canyon City's Great River Gorge is a place to explore, take stunning pictures, aircraft scenic tours, zip lining or skydiving at the Gorge! Colorado Springs & Pike's Peak are 1/2 hour away, but if you want to stay local, there is bicycle/hiking trail access from the RV park. Pueblo Lake State Park allows awesome days or weekends on the water, on the trails and bike paths, with camping available as well. While there, make sure to go to the Liberty Point Memorial for veterans that is located above the lake with stunning scenic vistas in every direction. A beautiful area summer or winter, good, trustworthy people, a VERY dedicated staff, and your choice of a slow, relaxing stay - or exciting extreme fun in the area's many venues...well worth your stay!”

“This is a great, nestled away spot for a quiet night in the canyon! Perfect for catching some rest while exploring the rock climbing in the canyon. PLEASE PRACTICE LEAVE NO TRACE. If you don’t know what that is, look it up. The campground is no longer serviced and are only considered dispersed sites. BEARS PRESENT. Due to the obvious abuse of the area, there are black bears present at this campground. We encountered a cub in the driveway leading to the sites in the middle of the afternoon. Sharing pictures of the abuse in hopes that folks will attempt to self-police the area and protect it. This is very harmful to the wildlife in this area - not to mention the damage it does to the local environment.”

“We had a GREAT time at our first Scout Camp! Staff are amazing with the kids and adults. Food was good and the indoor bathroom and showers are really nice and clean. The pit toilets are pit toilets. Make sure you have rain gear and good walking shoes. And get ready to have a GREAT TIME SCOUTING!”

“Only doing 4 stars because the noise and just screaming of the other campers went on all night (9pm- 4am) I don’t care much for having a good time and taking in cold one around camp fire but this was ridiculously loud and really sucked. Also a bit disappointed that they were right off the highway and not secluded like we expected. The tent itself was nice and very comfortable for the 4 days we stayed. Only recommend to the people that don’t care for the screaming and yelling between 9pm - 4pm!”

“Beautiful RV park located in the quaint town of Florence Colorado. The facility is well maintained with lovely flower beds, large lots with turf, and kind office staff. It is a safe place to live (we all had to do background checks prior to living here) with many families, including some children. It is also a very quite, and friendly neighborhood. The owner is very driven to make an upscale park, and when completed it will be one of the nicest RV parks in the Denver area.”

“Awesome! This was our first trip in our new camper and it couldn't have been a better experience. The gentleman who checked is in was super helpful and nice, and the campground itself is very new and will laid out. We backed up into some trees and had a great view. This is a perfect spot and the drive through Victor and Cripple Creek is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Very nice staff. They were able to accommodate us on short notice when my father passed. Trash pickup and propane tank fills right at each site. You are in the high desert so don't expect grass but park is very clean and maintained.”

“The owners were very nice and helped with direction to bypass Denver. The store was nice and had a good selection of items. As far as the park itself was ,well not what I expected for $47 a night. Someone changed my rating to 5 stars, I gave it 2-3 stars. DON'T CHANGE REVIEWS.”

“The road to the campground is accessible and I had no problem getting up there with a Honda Odyssey. The sites vary in size but all of them are spacious and relatively secluded. All sites come with a fire ring and a picnic table, bathrooms are maintained well, and there's plenty of space to explore. The trails surrounding the camp are marked well and easy to navigate. The views are gorgeous, I spent hours looking out at the scenery. The host was also very friendly. I would love to come back here.”

“GREAT experience with this dental office. I came in to see Dr. Unser to fix tooth pain from another dentist not properly completing the filling process. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and made some adjustments that have mostly alleviated any bite pain after only 2 days which is a HUGE improvement. His staff is very competent and friendly and you can tell they all love working there, and the hygienists and other workers are passionate about teethcare.”

“Never actually camped there, always around the general area. Location is right near a spot that is frequented by shooters (legally). Don't expect a peaceful day of nature sounds without the occasional gunshot. As I am a part of that, I also apologize.”

“We stayed at Mountaindale for several days in August and really appreciated the beauty and quiet of the location. Having had the opportunity to travel extensively in the area, we note that other RV parks in and around Colorado Springs are tightly packed, close to noisy roads, and can be difficult to access in a big-rig. That's far from the case with Mountaindale. This location is close to everything, but sits almost 2 miles off of the main highway at the base of a beautiful ridge in perfect quiet and natural beauty. There's plenty of room to maneuver, the sites are spacious and well maintained, and the park employees are welcoming and helpful. The park itself is very well maintained and the team that runs the place is committed to making sure that everyone has a great experience by enforcing community rules in a friendly and respectful way. We highly recommend Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort and we'll certainly return.”

“Nice campground still has water and flushing a bathroom in winter. Stayed in peak view loop and had some lovely views of the mountains facing towards the road. You are up in elevation so be prepared for cooler weather any sort of elevation sickness and adjustments for cooking.”

“Amazing staff work this place. It is very clean and well kept, lots of little fun things to do around the campground and the area. The woman who helped us find trails was very knowledgeable about where to go. (Hit the trails early though, those parking lots fill up fast.) The cabins were better than the last several KOA I stayed at. The cabins have more details added and are better sealed so bugs aren't bunking with you. Very nice bathrooms and showers, with super cute decorations. And the grills out for use are a godsend during a burn ban. The camp kitchen is also a really nice feature that is crazy convenient. This is definitely the nicest KOA I've stayed at, even without a pool.”

“Stayed 1 night. Very nice park with clean restrooms/showers. Quiet at night. Owners are very friendly. The entrance driveway is pretty steep, so have your speed down when taking the exit. Not difficult, just something to be aware of. We enjoyed it and would stay here again.”

“Eric and Mary Kay where the camp hosts. They were awesome! All the campgrounds were keep in immaculate state and all the latrines were as clean as one could be. Ive camped in a lot of places and they helped make this place even more enjoyable. Wonderful scenery, nice lake, great hikes and decent fishing. What more could you ask for?!”

“Love this place! Gem and Dan are so nice. They took such good care of my parents from out of state. The views are fabulous and facilities clean. The dog park was great for my dog while visiting. They have spots that view down valley but those book up fast so book early. My parents were on the side viewing the other mountain which was pretty as well. We would hang out and relax in evening watching the sun go down, have dinner and play games. I liked this campground much better because of the layout and people compared to others in the area that I toured.”
