“Everyone here is very nice and caring. It is a small church, but they do a lit of nice things. They donate a lot of food to Community Food Bank. The also have a sock and underwear drive for kids near Christmas and some buy Christmas gifts for kids. They donate a lot of Christmas stockings to a day care in the inner city. There are several movie nights through the year for the whole community. It is a very nice place to attend church.”

I have got to say from the women in the front office to every single staff member they are simply amazing. They help schedule even on a drop of an dime, the medical assistants are happy and up beat. Dr. O himself is the best chiropractor I’ve never met. He is hands on, knowledgeable & explains everything in great detail. “Loved the experience of being in the clinic. However I will warn that if you move states it's almost impossible go get your records from these people. I've given several working emails to receive the release papers I need to get my kids records. I even had other people email me to make sure all emails were in fact working. I received all of them . Then I had the kids new pediatrician send a release over. They refuse to release them to that clinic. When I ask to get another email sent to me. They say yes of course and I still haven't received one. This shouldn't be this difficult. Other clinics got me their records within a week. No excuses. I've been trying for 3 months ! And now my kid might not be able to start school in a week because of how unhelpful staff has been. Update: Esmaralda helped me solve my issue and I have already received my children's records so they will start school on time.”

“Wonderful woman owner who was not shy about making recommendations when we asked her for help on what was good. The food was plentiful, tasty, and very much homemade. My husband loved the jerk chicken, loved the spice levels, and the flavors. The red peas and rice were super flavorful, and the fried sweet plantain was delicious. I had the stew curry chicken, and it's certainly whole chicken cooked so that the bones lent flavor to all the vegetables and the rice. Authenticity was key, and they offered my husband a ginger malt non-alcoholic beverage that was really unique. I was grateful that they had no-sugar seltzers for all that I really wanted to try out the hibiscus lemonade. I just can't handle the sugar these days. She was kind enough to give us fresh raisin buns to take home for desserts, and the trays of food were enough to give both my husband and I two meals. Super generous with the portions.”

“Great cake and bake shop! This is a popular chain from the Philippines and they offer a variety of cakes, pastries, breads and other treats. I'm not a big cake fan, but my Filipino friends really enjoy them from here. Lots of flavors to pick from too. Since I don't normally eat cake, I have no point of reference for the pricing. But it was roughly $42 for a regular sized cake. They do have plastic bags here which I am really grateful!!!!! It's nonsense that governor Murphy banned all bags recently, so stupid! Plastic bags are needed, wanted and useful. The bags they have here are sturdy too, so you can reuse them. The store charges roughly 50 cents per bag, which I think is stupid. People need a bag. Just fill the outside of that plastic bag with awesome Red Ribbon logos, some huge detailed photos of the cakes and treats and you have free store advertising every time a customer walks out the store carrying a cake in one of your awesome bags. Everyone on the street seeing those bags with delicious cakes on them will wonder where they can buy a yummy cake like that. Advertising works. Don't charge the customer, just let them help you advertise for free. Parking here is insane unfortunately. This is no fault to the owner of the store. It is how the downtown area of Bergenfield was designed around a hundred years ago when most people had horses and very little traffic, no need for tons of parking. If the very few street parking spots are all full, there are large, free parking lots on the parallel back streets, Portland Ave and Legion Drive. The Portland parking lot is closer to Red Ribbon. Employees are super friendly and helpful. They are also quick to help. There are some indoor seating and during warmer months they have some outdoor seating as well. Very clean inside.”

I had Micki and she did a phenomenal job and had great attention to detail. Before starting the haircut, she took some time to see how I like to style my hair (and where the last barber messed up) to see how to best go about cutting it. It has been one of the better cuts I've had for some time - I will definitely be going back because of Micki!”
