Address: 815 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Restaurant

“I have been craving sushi and stumbled upon this place. Our food came out very fast and it was pretty yummy. The sushi was fresh and the fried rice was delicious. It was quiet, clean and our server was kind. Not too pricey and actually decent sushi.”

Potbelly

Address: 709 H St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Restaurant

“The food is great. That's to be expected from a sandwich joint that has survived the pandemic in gallery place Chinatown DC. But what makes this a great place are the workers. Such a nice group of people. Joking and conversating with the customers. They create a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. And I am grateful for that. Not everyday is a great day and walking into a sandwich shop full of people with great vibes can help to clear one's skies.”

Capital Vape Supply

Address: 1007 U St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Store Restaurant

“My experience at CVS was awesome. Something happened with a vaporizer that I bought there (the issue was my fault), and they made it right, on the spot. The people working there were extremely awesome. My girlfriend bought replacement coils for her vape, and they cleaned her tank out and installed the coil. Very friendly, chill and awesome people. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot!!!”

Johnny Pistolas

“Brunch is amazing ! Fantastic food and the bottomless drinks are great! Definitely do bottomless brunch. The chicken and waffles is amazing. Great breading and portions. Side of fruit is fresh. Will recommend to everyone”

Baked by Yael

Address: 3000 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC 20008, USA

Bakery Store Restaurant

“Great place to stop by after the zoo to grab a quick bite. The bagel sandwiches are around $6 and baked goods are around $4 each. Overall a decent place with vegan and gluten-free options. Nut-free and kosher if that’s also a concern for you. They had cute zoo-themed cake pops here and if you want a cute panda pop then this is the place for you. I tried their southwestern sandwich on an everything bagel and it was tasty and big enough that you’re full but not overly stuffed. I also tried their cookie bar and it was okay, though I wish I would’ve gone with their raspberry bar instead (maybe next time).”

Cinder BBQ

Address: 800 Upshur St NW, Washington, DC 20011, USA

Restaurant

“Had dinner with some friends. My pulled pork platter was good. The pork was juicy and flavorful, coleslaw was tasty. Collard greens were excellent. My friends enjoyed their food too. Service was good. My big gripe was that the table was super sticky and gross.”

RAMEN BY UZU

Address: 1309 5th St NE, Washington, DC 20002, USA

Restaurant

“Cute little Ramen stall with friendly service and some tasty options. I felt the flavors were authentic Japanese and the broth was delicious. I think my noodles may have been slightly undercooked but not enough to ruin my meal. Reasonably priced option for a quick bite at union market… I would try again.”

Shabu Plus

Address: 2321 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20009, USA

“Intimate dining experience. Very high quality meats that taste great. We had the duck broth, which was rich and tasty. Staff was attentive and the owner is very friendly.”

Herbivore Indian Cuisine

Address: 1639 Wisconsin Ave NW #1, Washington, DC 20007, USA

Restaurant

“Highly recommend. It's the place to go when you are feeling homesick for comfort food but too lazy to make it. Ordered the rajma chawal (came with the side salad), pakoras, and gajar halwa. Everything tasted freshly made, full of flavor, and nostalgic. Generous portions for the price. Also highly recommend getting the achar even if you have a bottle at home!! It's mixed veg (lotus root, carrots, mango, chilis) and perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious!”

Spice

Address: 826 Shepherd St NW, Washington, DC 20011, USA

Restaurant

“A friend of mine recommended I try this place. I moved to the DMV over 10 years ago from Queens, NY and have had a hard time finding reputable Jamaican cuisine. The place is very clean and updated. The ladies behind the counter were courteous. I had the oxtail, rice & peas, and steamed cabbage. It was exceptional. The meat was tender, seasoned and flavorful. They are generous with portions and reasonably priced. I will be back to try their curry goat. This place has met and exceeded my expectations. Great job Spice!”

Laos in Town

Address: 250 K St NE, Washington, DC 20002, USA

Restaurant

“What a great restaurant! Aesthetic and cozy atmosphere. I ordered mixed mushroom soup and tofu coconut curry; both dishes were amazing. Just the right heat level, temperature and spice, for a chilly December evening. The host was nice. While my server was okay, she seemed like she was just going through the motions. She didn't smile or anything, just kinda there. Reasonably priced. Solid experience overall.”

Reren Lamen & Bar

Address: 817 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Incredible soup noodle. It was a pleasant discovery. After a long and wet trek from the 'U Street Capsule Hostel' near Pleasant Plains to Downtown to Chinatown my legs were near dead. I had to get meal, fast, and a really good one. Reren exceeded expectations, the service was prompt and attentive, I got a tall glass of cold water the moment I sat down, thanks waitress, I needed that drink! I ordered their signature dish: 'Reren Signature Lamen'. Big portion of noodles to slurp to, delicious ans hearty brother with just the right amount of salt, condiments such as the half boiled Chinese Tea Egg, finely chopped kale, beans pouts, dried sea cucumber are an excellent addition to add texture and flavour. The star of this dish was the Pork Belly, succulent, melt-in-your-mouth stuff. Very tasty, a good hit of protein that was much needed after a tiring trek to the city. The shallots for garnish brought everything together for a superb presentation finish. Mad props to Reren chefs and wait staff - highly recommended.”

Stars and Stripes Café

Address: 1300 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20560, USA

“Good food at Museum prices. For example my burger, fries, water, and brownie was about 28 dollars. Think how much delivery would cost, per person, but likely cheaper with membership. Not bad but I prefer the food I can get at the Native American museum.”

Lee's Brunch

“Really stuff. Steak and egg with home fries. Fast. Clean. Knew it was going to be good. Police gather around good food and this place is pack with officers.”

Food Corner Kabob & Rotesserie

Address: Ilab, Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Restaurant

“Amazing. Went for the first time yesterday after a long work day and even more errands. I got salmon and spinach with chickpeas to-go and it made my day. As I left the restaurant thanking the man at the counter, he said "yes, see you tomorrow!" with a chuckle, and me with mine. As I left the doors I thought, I couldn't come every day but I'd love for this to taste that good so I'd crave it... and it did. It was enough food for 2.15 meals for me and was just great. I reheated it in the oven with some olive oil and lemon and mixed veggies just now. Ask for yogurt sauce. Ask for more. I had a left over cucumber/mayo/Sriracha +soy sauce concoction that I added on the side. Great comfort food. Thank you Food Corner!”

“Love this restaurant! Management (Roger) and service (Marquise) is excellent!! Such an improvement! They made sure we were well taken care of and checked in frequently. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and a perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. The charbroiled oysters were excellent - and the drinks were generous just like I love it. We were seated immediately and had top notch service from start to finish. Highly recommend going here. Looking forward to returning for brunch!”

This hidden gem is in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of DC. Very much worth the trip! The upstairs area turns into a dance floor after hours on the weekends. An all around great experience!”

“The best shawerma in the DMV without a doubt! ♥️🌯 I got the meal which comes with French fries, garlic sauce, and some vegetables on the side. There’s a nice seating area upstairs, not only outside. Negril - DC

Address: 2301 Georgia Ave NW Ste. G, Washington, DC 20001, USA

Bakery Meal takeaway Restaurant Store

“This is my favorite go-to place (DC, Georgia Ave) when I want to have brunch and extend breakfast to lunch. The restaurant opens at 10:30AM so I order then and this meal can last into dinner because of the portion size. Although in this pic there are only 4 potatoes and a few pieces of meat, typically they include more meat and potatoes. Nevertheless, this "dinner" usually comes with curry chicken, cabbage and rice but the rice is too crunchy so I choose to double the rice. The food is delicious 😋.”

Mulan Dumpling

Address: 1369 New York Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002, USA

Restaurant Meal delivery

“Seriously my favorite food truck option. Delicious, healthy dumplings with dipping sauces that will make you wish you right a straw! Yummy, veggie-packed salads bring a fresh crisp to the meal, something I often miss from a quick food truck lunch. And the iced ginger green tea? I just wish they sold it by the bottle! And the service is nothing short of southern charm. I'm always greeted with a smile, they're patient when I have questions, and generous in their portions. Highly recommend Mulan Dumpling!”

Meal delivery Restaurant

“It was clean, but I didn't get any food”

Grand Duchess

Address: 2337 18th St NW, Washington, DC 20009, USA

Restaurant

“Great vibe, great cocktails. Quality bartending staff--sampled all but one of the drinks on the base menu (as of 11/18) and all were good. I don't remember the name of the one I liked best but it had rye and amaro and was deliciously smoky and bitter tasting. "Off menu" versions of regular cocktails (Manhattan, negroni) were also well executed. I didn't try the grilled cheese but had some of my friend's Brussels sprouts and they were very good. Seems sort of random for a place like this to have good Brussels sprouts but hey, a lot of places you would except to have good sprouts have very bad sprouts. Overall a fun place with good drinks [and good Brussels sprouts].”
