“This is my daughter's third year at Whittier EC and she is thriving! We have been consistently impressed with the quality and dedication of the faculty and staff, the individualized attention she receives, and the community and partnerships we have been able to build at Whittier. While the physical building is a step down from some of the district's recent, shiny renovations, it is always clean, the classrooms are generally suited to the needs of the classes, and the staff works diligently to get the inevitable problems of a 90-year-old building fixed in a reasonable time frame. We looked at a lot of schools before my daughter entered the school lottery, but we haven't even considered looking for a different school since she started at Whittier.”

“This is a pretty nice rooming house. The manager was very nice. Rooms are pretty and homey, with a bunch of books on the shelf. Fresh fruit and cookies were a nice touch. Issues: (1) in my room #301, the toilet was very small - perfect for an 8-10 year old, but not for someone over 6' tall. (2) There were no electrical outlets a reasonable distance from the desk or other horizontal surface, so I had to move the bed in order to plug in anything - an extension cord would have been helpful. The biggest issue: why was Fox news on the downstairs TV all the time?? Please leave the TV off, unless there are people actively watching!”

“very great place from the point of view of someone who is courtesy dosing from out of state they are awesome and l am so grateful for that. dc it self is hard to navigate so its a bit hard to find but that's nothing an uber won't figure out for you! first day thats what I did and after that I can make it there on the bus with the help of an app or two! only downside is that it wasn't cheap but that will be anywhere your courtesy dosing and the one main thing I would like everyone to know id that they are not open til 2:30 (what methadone clinic is) so the hours are M-F 6-12am and Saturday and sunday 8-10:30 am for dosing nurse said today that Sunday is 8-11 but that sounds weird to me that its open longer on sat than sun so I am going to say its open til 10:30 in order to be safe. I also get a take home on Sundays at my clinic and I didn't get that here as I was told I would but its one day I didn't wig out they are open Sundays so I guess thats how they do it not going to worry about it too much! one side note is you have make your first day for courtesy dosing M-F just as if you were trying to get on methadone you could only start Monday through friday as those are the days they are fully staffed office wise so make sure you are prepared for that other wise it has been painless and I have been very impressed with PICARC”

I stayed in a bunk room and it was great. Very clean and great views. It was raining during my stay... safety 1st! Wet floor signs needed; although, staff was diligent at keeping lobby dry.”
