“Mike Sloan and his crew saved us from a horrible major remodel nightmare on two bathrooms. In short, another contractor/designer who started work in mid-Sep 2017 just never showed up again after mid-Dec 2017 leaving us with a non-functioning bathroom i.e. no electric, toilet, cabinets, sinks, countertops, gaping area on one side showing the studs, etc. Said contractor also failed to pay for goods to be installed, not even counting how much we had already paid them for this unfinished fiasco. Please note, this contractor has shut down the business in Hernando Co. We were in contact with Mike and he sat down with us on 3 Jan 2018 to work up a plan and budget to get this project finished. The day after we spoke, Gemini was here installing the cabinets, a plumber, electrician and glass company were also here seeing what needed to be done. The granite company came on Friday. It was overwhelming to see just what can be accomplished with someone in charge who knows what project management really is. On Jan 17, 2018, just short of two weeks we had a functioning and 99% finished bathroom. The custom shower will be here within the week. My husband and I can't thank Mike and his people enough. They are conscientious, clean working, take pride in what they are doing but most of all fair to their clients. We highly recommend anyone considering cabinetry and general info on how to handle being your own project manager to sit down with Gemini, you will be very happy you did.”

“About 8 years ago, I had a need of an appliance and sought suggestions from co-workers. One recommended Famous Tate and they were right! The workers were helpful as I tried to figure out how to get the appliance. Now, Famous Tate is my go-to for new appliances, and the place I direct others in need. It got even better when they added free local delivery. Last week, when my dryer died, I immediately went on Famous Tate's website, researched a few choices, ordered, and set it for delivery. Within a few hours, I received a call to verify my order and to let me know I would receive a phone call the next day about delivery. Sure enough, I not only received the phone call, but an email, and a text message, as well. The delivery driver contacted me to let me know they found a dent on the side and asked if that was alright. I said it was, and he said they would be refunding me 10% of the price due to the dent. The delivery came within the window given and was smooth. They were understanding that the path I thought would work was not big enough, and were patient while I quickly cleared the way. The delivery man ensured I was okay with the dent and again stated I would receive 10% off for it. Before he left, he went through a checklist to ensure it was installed and worked. They replaced the entire middle section with leather and now the headboard looks better than the original version and looks more expensive. “I had to return some Christmas lights they weren't working adequately exchange was easy I asked for some help and they call someone and brought me right back to where I thought they might be and they were and I wanted to get Blue lights instead of white lights like I had gotten and it was no problem I enjoy shopping at Walmart because when I ask questions about an item that may not be findable they either find it right away or they tell me that it is not in stock at the moment but will be within a couple of days. That helps out tremendously because of the price of gas running to and from different places or back to the store at least I know to wait a couple of days and it's convenient and it's clean 🪥”
