“4.20.24 - Burgers and Beer had great tastings of both. I was able to sing along with just about every song. The grounds again were maintained during the event. Nice job by the event organizers and county, except for the ants. For the few events I've attended, changing areas for the vendors' booths was odd. ******* Beer festival was fun. Recently parked and rode my bicycle from there. The facility is well kept with clean bathrooms. Blues and Bourbon Festival had great entertainment, excellent Bourbon tasting, and plenty of choices eat. Perhaps a little more volume for the musicians could be allowed, and also, the MC could not be heard. There was ample seating, and the crew keeping the grounds clean did a great job. As more of these events take place, the turf grass should be maintained more aggressively. It's not going to be as nice if it turns to just dirt.”

“There are many species of birds that live in the beautiful trees that surround the clubhouse. When I did the Great Backyard Bird Count, Merlin Bird ID and I identified 23 species of birds during two morning walks with my dog. There are many gorgeous Eastern bluebirds here! There is also a nice track for running/walking and a thriving tennis program. Can't comment on the clubhouse interior. They used to have the most unfriendly and rude staff, hopefully that has changed, but I vowed at one point to never go back inside and stuck to it. That's why my review has to focus on the exterior. The grounds are clean and well-maintained, good job on that.”

“Nice Carnival, is a place for a different weekend, family oriented. Games, food music & shows. Don't expect Disney or Universal, but this Festivals have their charm and is a nice place to have fun & enjoy with the family, there are games for different ages so everyone can enjoy we tried the chicken tenders with fries and those ones deserve a 5, really good!”

“We hiked very little of this area due to water and some road construction where they have closed portions of the preserve. I will certainly go back as there is a great deal of area you can cover and we did enjoy how untouched a lot of the areas looked. We were somewhat lost and could not get the maps to match to anything we were hiking, that might be just user error, but we are typically pretty good with these things. Better signage would be a real plus. Otherwise, very natural space, no crowds and the campers looked to be enjoying the spot. It would be great to camp and hike. We did several miles and did not even get a small portion of ground covered.”
