“Shari and I had lunch today at Irma's Taco & Tequila Bar in North Port FL. Its located in the Wellen Park area. Quite easy to locate. We both loved the vibes of the place! We meant to eat here earlier but our day locations got in the way but today it just fell into place. The area is quite open and airy, very clean fresh feel to the restaurant. Our server was very nice and accommodating. I ordered Ice Water w Lemon & Lime and so did Shari but she also ordered a Berry-Rita mixed drink with lovely plumb blackberries. I added a Margaritaville Strawberry Diaquori water enhancement package to my water Zero Sugar 5 Calories. Shari ordered the Carne Asada Taco and A Ground Beef Taco adding Chorizo w a side of Queso Cheese Dip. I ordered the Carne Asada Taco also and a Grilled Mahi but with the toppings of the Al Pastor toppings. They let me switch the proteins around which was very nice! I also ordered chips and salsa for $4 because unfortunately they are not gratuitous like most Mexican cuisine restaurants ! The food was amazing! We both chose the corn tortillas over the flour option. But here you are given the lettuce option as well and they do offer vegan tacos too! They offer a taco called Ophelia that is Black Bean based w some yummy toppings but I knew 2 tacos was more than plenty for me. I was able to eat about 3/4 of my Mahi Taco and picked at some Carne Asada Protein on the 2nd one but I was full. I did eat a few chips because the salsa was thick and AMAZING!! Shari said her Queso was quite good too...I'm not a queso fan! Definitely would go back. Highly recommend ! 5 stars from me!”

“Visited around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Not very crowded. Seated quickly and the wait staff was quickly at our table with drinks, chips and salsa. The salsa was mild but good texture for dipping. The ambiance is really good with low light and warm colors. Music was not too loud. Ordered the Mexican street tacos ($21) to dine in and a to-go order of pork chilli Verde, rice and beans ($22). The tacos had a decent amount of pork, onions and cilantro. The double corn tortillas were excellent. Rice and beans were spot on. It came with a delicious roasted huge jalapeno pepper which I would take bites of with the taco. Will be back. Atmosphere was great but got seated next to kitchen entrance so is why I dropped a few points for.”

“This is a cute little bistro with good food. We ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp for the appetizer, a popular dish here in Florida. It wasn't the best version of it that I've had but it was pretty good. For my meal, I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was balanced with the right amount of sauce and cheese and the fries were crispy and crunchy which, is not easy with sweet potatoes. My friend had the Reuben and she said it was one the best she's had. The server, Rachel was personable and attentive. The atmosphere is cute and quaint and a perfect little lunch spot.”

We went in to pick up drinks we ordered, I left my wallet in the car and my daughter was asking where her hot chocolate was which I had forgot to order and the girl behind the counter gave her one just because! It was the sweetest thing and she didn't have to. We always get good service there and we go often 👍”

“I lucked out with this visit...there were no "Hot & Ready" Pizzas or crazy bread so I got everything freshly made!! It was delicious!! The "Hot & Ready" program is great for someone I a hurry who is ok with old food, but I'd rather wait a few extra minutes for fresh. It makes a big difference with their food.”
