“I think we were one of the first to stay here, I'm glad we found it. Very clean and a great location to travel between the other keys. It's also down the road from Robbie's if you want to feed some massive fish! There's a nice park (Founders) near by with a beach, there's a few stores and nice bars in the area too. Internet was good. The s'mores were a great touch! Would stay here again.”

“We had a great 5 night stay. Quiet neighborhood. We felt like locals, living on the water. Great location: far enough away from noise, but close enough to see the area. Tight corners to pull in, but plenty of space once you're parked. The marina staff were very friendly and informative. They were especially helpful as we prepped for the incoming tropical storm. The free washer and dryer was a pleasant surprise. Clean and convenient bathhouse. *Don't forget to empty your grey/ black water before pulling in. Chassahowitzka River Campground has a dump site for $10.”

“Winding Creek Mobile Home Park is under new owners and they have straightened out the park they got rid of all the Riff Raff and it's really a nice park now they are constantly fixing it up they paved the roads they redid All the plumbing so I give five stars to the people that are trying hard to make this place a Better Living conditions for all of us and the manager is really cool she does a really good job and works hard she takes care of two trailer parks. 😎 Thanks For Caring !!!”

“We rented with Booming Rentals after reading some of the less-than-flattering feedback about Millennial, had no problems. You do forfeit the concierge service when renting with Booming, but it was also pretty nice to roll up and check in without having to stop up front. Amenities are GREAT and the site is secure. SO READY for Universal Epic to be open across the street.”

“My best friend and I wanted to get away for a few days to do some scuba diving and booked this resort based solely on the reviews — man are we glad we did!! The website pics don’t do this place justice - hands down the most perfect little spot, from the just right private beach to the sunset views to the cleanliness and hospitality, we can’t wait to come back! The free Breakfast was perfect every day and we were able to use both our grille and kitchenette so we could stay onsite for our meals and soak up the resort as much as possible… absolutely loved this perfect place and will definitely be back!!! A true hidden gem in the Keys! 10/10”

“We stayed at the Captain’s Quarters for 5 nights in December. It was a great location, easy walk across the street to the beach. The space was clean and great for the 2 of us. Bed was comfy, kitchen well stocked. The hot tub/heated pool was a nice feature, it is shared with the others in the building but there are only 4 (I think) other rooms there and only 1or 2 were booked the entire time we were there. The staff is very responsive to any requests we made. Would definitely stay again !!!”

“We stayed here mid August though to September, and we have now stayed here several times, and we honestly wouldn't choose anywhere else to stay if we are visiting this area. The location is only a five minute walk to the amazing beach and a few minutes to cafes/bars/restaurants/shops. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and bright. There is a private pool outside which the kids absolutely loved. There are also plenty of TVs within the rooms with various channels should you want some time relaxing inside. The beds are also worth mentioning - they are VERY comfortable. The co owner, David, also called by to make sure everything was fine and that there weren't any issues. There were also some handy extras, such as carts to transport the kids/equipment to the beach, and inflatable equipment for the kids to use in the pool. The last time we came before this time was 2018, and I can safely say it is just as fantastic as it always was, and we will 100% be back again when we can!”

“My family and I had a wonderful time in Siesta beach. Sandbox on the beach has a wonderful location and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is very relaxed and this condo is close to the village. We stayed for a week in Unit 4 and our view of the beach was spectacular! We also wanted to thank Amy in the front desk for all of her help. She made our stay very enjoyable and went out of her way to send us some items that we forgot to pack. I highly recommend this condo and we will definitely be coming back!”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The park is kept clean, is maintained well, has many options for recreation and was easy to book online. Our site had awesome Adirondack furniture to enjoy too! The only 2 things that could have made it better are if our site had more shell and less dirt (with the dew, our RV was pretty dirty) and if the other patrons had picked up after their dogs in the dog run area. I spent my dog walking time picking up after other people's dogs so my dogs didn't step in it or worse. We will definitely be back though!”

“We stayed in a large King suite and it was a good amount of space for two people. You can’t beat the location and the property was well maintained and super cute. The room was clean, cutely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small and the vanity mirror and full length mirror were hung too low. I’m average height and had to duck down when getting ready. We’d definitely stay at this property again!”

We anchored ourselves in this venue for 10+ nights, making it easy for us to head north, or south or, stay 'local' depending on what took our fancy. Lovely planation-like -setting but, a car is a MUST: we enjoyed being able to access the two-lane highways with easy access to carry us to Legoland, or Disney, or Epcot or... purr-fect location for a writer's retreat when doing our 'know before you go guides' to the region. Hidden gem: Bok Tower and Sanctuary & The fresh water fishing... use fake worms!”
