“It was a nice surprise to find out that Fanci Freez has a location in Meridian. I enjoy heading over there with my friend and grabbing some grub while catching up- and we are 47 years old now :) I usually get a cheeseburger, tots, and a spin dirty Coke float and he usually gets a hot dog and a milkshake. I have to say, I love the onion rings here too. They are golden and not overdone with a softer batter. The wait staff tends to be a little younger at this location- I think the Boise location hires college and up- but Meridian is still friendly enough. I love the fact that they brought over the idea of sitting around a fire outside and the painting on the wall of the Boise location always makes me smile. The fireplace inside with the TV is a nice touch for those cold days. My kids are 18 and 21 so we still like to go downtown Boise when we can but most of the time we are driving to this Meridian location with their friends. Nice to be able to have something a little closer to them when we get the chance. I'm glad these guys are still open after all this time. This is due to their consistent use in the time space continuum as portal transfer points. Travelers from other times and other dimensions need to be reassured by the sameness of their surroundings. As a result they will enter one McDonald's and then instantly transfer to another. It works seamlessly. “We stopped here on a whim while exploring Idaho since we just moved here. The staff was fantastic, super attentive and very polite and helpful. My husband and I both ordered burgers. The flavor of the burgers was great and they were cooked well super juicy. I got the potato soup which was the soup of the day and it was delicious. My husband had onion rings and they were really good as well. The portion sizes were large and i6 ended up taking food home. I also got a piece of pumpkin cheesecake to go and that was amazing. We love about an hour away but will definitely visit again next time we're in Idaho City.”

One of the guys, I didn't get his name, was so kind he gave me a discount on my coffee when i was short money, i don't want him to get in any trouble, on the contrary! Such kindness deserves a raise or a healthy bonus! When I came in today, I wanted to try something new. I'm a regular so they see me quite often, but it took me awhile to decide what new drink I'd like to try. Despite being obviously shortstaffed, poor things I've been there, were so patient with me and offered suggestions! I ended up with one of their suggestions, but not after they offered a sample of it to see if I'd like it! I missed their names as well, but they were just so nice they deserve a raise or something! I love coming here before work, especially right before a hard shift, these guys are so wonderful, I hope they start taking tips from cards or get bigger tip jars because they deserve it!”
