“Went here when I was a kid and actually enjoyed it, took my kids here (when they were still kids) and they really enjoyed it too. Free admission is wonderful for families looking for something to do that isn't just staring at a screen ? Take the time, look at everything, learn something!”

“A very awesome place to visit. Takes you away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and into nature. I love the escape and the kids are always wanting to go. The little exhibit indoors was a real surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed it and it is very informative. And the gift shop as well. Staff are friendly and really want to be there. If you haven't visited yet, and are stressed, especially with all this year has brought, take an afternoon and visit nature. A really great place!”

“Howdy ya'll. I'm a newbie in the RV Universe but I do know a nice place when I see/experience one. I bought a new bumper pull in May 2021. So including the RV park where I purchased my rig just outside of Austin, this is my second RV Park experience and first review/post regarding such. I have to say that the bar has been set very high. From the staff to the overall cleanliness and praise...you know who...lots of shade trees, to the scope of amenities...this place was a great stay. It is nestled in a very nice area of Arlington with everything and all the stores that we've become accustomed to within a few short miles. The prices were on the higher end but that was made much more palatable by a generous discount for us disabled vets. Thank you for that. All in all it was a short and sweet 5 day stay that left a smile on my face. I would definitely stay there again. MTL”

“Beautiful event venue. I especially love the wrap around porch on the upper level and views of the river. Accessible entrance on the ground level with easy elevator access to first and second floors. Some neat sports history pieces too!”

“It's difficult to find Civil War battlefields in far western states. The second largest cavalry battle occurred here. In addition, lots of Pokémon characters and a gym.”

“This is a place for curation & research. Not a place to see exhibits under glass. The phone number posted on the door reads THPO 595-3258. Maybe it means Tribal Headquarters something. There's also a semi-authentic wigwam in the yard.”

“Werner Wagon Works is a fantastic business! This is a one of a kind business to experience, either as a customer or part of a tour group! Don and Connie are part of a small but elite group of artisans preserving the American tradition of handcrafted quality.”

“What an amazing transition! From a big building crammed with stuff to a well organized building with several secondary buildings that have been meticulously put together. You really should take the time to see the cabin and schoolhouse. That said, GO SEE THE BARN!!! Their collection is over the top. Implements galore as well as threshers and tractors. Well worth getting of the highway and seeingm”

“There is an original lithograph exhibit being shown there currently that is amazing. The young lady who was working last Sunday was well informed and passionate about the museum. We found there was much more to see than expected.”

“You got to love history”

“Worth-the-drive destination. Adults will love the beautifully-simple landscaping with the native grasses, split-rail fences and the views of prairie, lake and sky. Kids could play forever in the old town setting. Jefferson County saved a bunch of houses and businesses from the 1800s and early 1900s and moved them together to make a little town from the past. Filmmakers should use this as a set. The old, high, wooden sidewalks are like big decks connecting the buildings. Even if it's closed, you can still look inside the buildings to see what an old doctor's office or what the old grocery or hardware store had in it. Plus there is a wonderful sculpture of a prairie wind wagon being swept up into a tornado. I love it there.”
