I accidentally ordered the wrong appetizer and the owner picked up on my disappointment. He quickly switched it out for the one I wanted and removed my mistake from the bill. We will definitely be back! We each tried a different bowl. So flavorful and delicious!”

“The atmosphere is warm, it's a busy place but there are separate areas for dining, which makes it feel intimate. Service from Jennifer, our bartender, was wonderful, she made us feel very comfortable. She was very knowledgeable about the bourbons on sale and offered many suggestions on cocktails. My husband's steak was done to perfection, I opted for a warm brie salad and a fully loaded potato. The potato arrived before the salad, and was very tasty. It seemed the kitchen had forgotten my salad and when it did arrive it looked wilted and very sad, however, it was flavorful. The presentation and timing could have been a lot better. It's an expensive evening out, everything on the menu is high dollar but it's well worth spoiling yourself when you're in the area. The only real complaint is the dirty cutlery and none too clean drinking glasses.”

“It was our first time trying Bluegrass Tavern and we will definitely be back. Locally owned with wonderful staff that were friendly and professional. Orders were taken and food served in a timely manner. The menu was varied and prices were reasonable. There were seven in our group ranging from ages 2 to 67 and everyone enjoyed their food choices. The excellent flavor of the burger used in the enormous "Fry Way to Hell" burger is due in part to the meat being sourced from a local butcher. The catfish sandwich was delicious and the onion rings were some of the best we've tried! Very down-home and family friendly and absolutely worth the 35 minute drive.”

They accommodated our large party with ease and great service. We were all pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and will definitely be returning. Make sure to get one of the cocktails featuring their own products. They've also got a HUGE selection of other whiskeys available if you've got a favorite you want to enjoy. Pro tip: ask if you can see the Vintage Whiskey Library for a little behind the scenes awesomeness.”

“I was here on Friday July 15th upon my arrival I was greeted by employees in the store while the young man was taking my order a lady came storming in screaming at a teenager at the other end of the counter. The woman who I presume was the manager stopped what she was doing to intervene the lady started screaming at the manager and flailing her arms demanding a refund. The manager repeatedly tried to explain to the woman that she was not giving her a refund because she had already made her sandwich numerous times and it was half eaten. The customer then started screaming at the top of her lungs to the manager who then asked her to leave. It got so bad the manager had to call the police! The manager looked young but handled this situation great in my eyes. I am glad to see management there with these kids at night there is no telling what would have happened to those teenagers had an adult not been there to handle this situation. Kudos goes to the manager for sticking up for her crew! Great job Penn station my food was amazing by the way!!!”
