“I have taken my car to Ken Towery’s on Hurstbourne twice now. The first time was 2 months ago just to get a tire replaced. I expected them just to give me a new tire and send me on my way, but when I looked through the window, I saw them hammering the wheel into shape. I figured that might be necessary to install the new tire, but then was pleasantly surprised when they delivered the car and the plastic hubcap which was bent to the point where it looked like it was peeling off my car (which clearly doesn’t affect performance or installation) was also straightened and aligned. They did this at no charge and didn’t even mention it. It was as if it was expected as part of professional service. Suffice to say I was impressed! Since the shop is so clean and appointments are easy to make on the website AND they are open on the weekends, I figured they would be ideal to take my car to to get a full inspection. This is when I met Greg, the GM. I told him I didn’t know much about cars, so after I got the inspection report he took me back to my car to actually show me where the parts were worn down and damaged. No mechanic has *ever* done this before. Thomas, a mechanic, also came over and joined the discussion and together they were able to explain in terms that I clearly understood how these damages happened, what it would cost, and how I should prioritize them in terms of long term cost, fuel economy and safety. When discussing budgeting issues at check out with Greg, I felt educated and comfortable. I also felt he respected my financial concerns and didn’t pressure me to take care of fixes that weren’t a major priority, specifically safety issues. All in all, I decided that Ken Towery’s on 3800 Hurstbourne Pkwy would be the place that I would take my business permanently and recommend to everyone else!”
