“Guide for Northerners: I'm from the Midwest and was not familiar with modern day Southern fish camps. These wonderful places get fresh local fish and seafood to cook up and it's so delicious! It's a no frills place and you wait in line to order cafeteria style but it's always worth the wait! Then, you find a seat where ever you can and dig in! Safe Harbor has a lite crispy crunchy shrimp batter, crispy crinkle fries and a special pink tartar sauce that is tasty! You can see the crab meat in the deviled crabs. Wish we lived closer and could visit often! For a fun treat: Drive a mile north and take the ferry to Amelia island for a beautiful ocean drive or bike ride following SR A1A.”

Besides that it looked great and portions were nice. **Update August 8/2021** Pizza sauce for some reason lacks just a bit of sweetness or salt still to me,maybe it’s just my palette though. But I feel if they tweak the sauce a bit, then MAN they’d be HUGE COMPETITION to a lot of pizza places I’ve been to. Crust was nicely charred. And on top of that the two gentlemen there were very friendly. 4/5 is still my rating 👍”

You can come here for a great time with your friend enjoy authentic German cuisine then after you're done eating. Go on over to the bar side where they have a bunch of German style seatings. one of the best selections of beer in Lexington. It is heavy on college kids. It has a bunch of volleyball in and outside. Overall it's a nice experience. There is an excellent shuffleboard there too. If you've never played shuffleboard you should give it a chance. It's one of my favorite games to play at bars besides darts. There is a lot of the dart boards too.”
