“It's easily the best fried chicken in the area. Beats popeyes and KFC by a lot. The seasoning is done very well, and it's not dripping with grease the way those other fast food places are. It's pretty new, so everything is cooked to order. It may take a little longer than going to the drive thru fast food places, but you're guaranteed to not get served food that's been sitting under a heat lamp for over an hour. Order ahead is the way to go. It's also connected to a bubble tea shop which is great. My family used to get Popeyes whenever we wanted fried chicken, but we'll probably just go here for now on. Edit: They don't take orders over the phone and if you want to order ahead you have to download an app... Unlike just about every other restaurant. I'm not installing a dedicated app just to get takeout chicken.”

“My friend and I visited this place after we went to the Matcha time Gift shop! I ate the Shrimp tempura udon and my friend got a regular sized ramen. We both paid $15 for our noodles, and I got a $6 matcha. The udon was okay, it tasted good but I think it's normal udons, 7.5/10. I'm not sure how the ramen tasted but she said it was good also. The servings aren't huge compared to the price, so keep that in mind. The matcha was good, I'd rate it a 6.5/10. We got window seats and the sunlight was great for photos and talking. We also got 2 kids version shaved ice, matcha and mango. They were $3 each and came with a cute bowl. The matcha flavor was very bitter, but it may be because I asked for only a little condensed milk. I'd definetly recommend adding some condensed milk if ur more of a sweet matcha lover like me. The mango flavor was really good, and surprisingly very flavorful.”

“I decided to check out the restaurant so I ordered both a breakfast and a lunch item for takeout. The service was good and both items turned out to be pretty good. The restaurant is a little pricey for what it is. My Reuben sandwich was $12.99 and included a small bag of chips. My cheese omelette was $9.99 and came with sourdough bread. For comparison, the veggie omelette is $11.99 plus $1.99 if you want cheese with it. Keep in mind that you order at the counter and a tip option is displayed on the computer screen. The baked items looked very appetizing, and I will likely try them on my next visit.”

“It is a charming old tavern worth visiting if you're visiting Old Ellicott City. Two friends and I went for a weekday lunch and split a salad, an appetizer ("Maryland State Fair" - funnel cake & crab dip), and a pizza, and ate to our hearts' content. Salad was amazing and the pizza was delicious. The dip was a little on the salty side (to be expected of a crab dip) but the fried dough to be dipped was a bit dry and underwhelming. I also tried the draft beer flight and it was lovely. Overall, the meal was very pleasing and the service immaculate. We'll be back!”

“This is a brand new, highly anticipated restaurant. Let's give them grace to figure out what works best in serving the customers. Finally good soup dumplings in Ellicott city. We had a short wait for our order, under 35 minutes. You can order them and take your food to any table. We got a variety of items. The stuffed turnips and ham puffs were delicious and different. The cucumber salad was refreshing. The shredded port and rice cake dish would be great for those who love flavor with no heat. The signature soup dumplings stole the show. The pan fried dumplings were great as well. Check them out.”

“A month ago, I found out about this place from my daughter. Didn't even know this place existed and I have lived in Howard county for over 20 years. As you can see, I am not much of a bar person. Now I have been to every restaurant around this place but never thought about it. A month ago, my wanted some chicken. So I ordered some food from our usual place and then on the way over there to pick it up, I stopped by and talked to the owner's son and put in an order for their boneless chicken to go. After picking up the usual food, I came back and picked up the boneless chicken from here. I don't know if it was because it got cold and the shrinkage factor, the boneless chicken was pretty sad. I air fried it to heat it up but it didn't help. I thought about putting in a review of that experience but thought that it would be unfair to base it on just one dish under not ideal conditions. So I didn't. Well, this week, a group of friends wanted to come here for drinks and food and I readily agreed. Wanted to give it a proper chance. As you can see from the photos, the place is not that large but with the long table in the middle, it can adapt to a lot of people in a group. This time the food was really really goof. Everyone loved all the chicken dishes. I would say the half and half chicken is probably the best dish they have. I could use a much spicier sauce personally but it suited everyone else just fine. The food came out in a timely manner and it was great. The one thing that I would say they can improve upon is that I didn't see any Korean beers on the menu. Just had Sapporo beer. No draft beers either. I know it's a Korean bar but it is still a bar and beer variety is a must. People want what they want when it comes to beer. I would note that the flavored Korean rice wine was definitely a huge hit with all the ladies.”

“Stopped in for a quick dinner on Tuesday night. We were seated right away and our server Abby was quick with drinks and food orders. Our meals arrived quickly and were very good. Abby continued to offer great service during our visit. 5/4/22 Met a friend for dinner at 6pm. We made a reservation prior to going and table for 3 was available when we arrived. They set expectation early on with an exact timeline of the process so there were no surprises along the way. In addition to the timeline, their communication was over the top. If I didn't hear from Jennifer herself, I heard from her assistant Laura who was always there to answer any questions I had. In my initial walk through Jennifer made suggestions on what to do to make the house "show" better and she was spot-on! My house looked amazing with her suggestions and her amazing staging team! “This place is just awesome. If the weather is nice it is the perfect outdoor spot. I do think it is a well kept secret though, since I only recently heard of it. They have nice music and your entire family can enjoy. The outdoor furniture is beautiful and the location is for any nature lover. I was there with a bunch of friends and we had a wonderful time. “They give small portions- a sweet potato order only brings out two slices. But it's all you can eat, so can't complain. The broths are good, but be aware that if you ask for a spicy hot and you're using individual portion hot pots, they will add enough oil for a full sized hot pot. So your food will be literally swimming in pure oil. My partner got sick off it, so just be aware. There's no problem with regular sharing hot pot or the non spicy ones. My favorite broth is the herbal one, can't go wrong with it. I wish they had a wider selection of vegetables, but their meat selection is great. The bathrooms are kept clean too. I prefer Urban Hot Pot to this joint, but this place is definitely closer and it still checks all the boxes that a hot pot place should. Especially good if you're a first time hot pot adventurer.”
