“Google Maps has the wrong address. The Leach Sanctuary is at 19 Woodland Lane, not 19 Woodland Street. It can also be reached by going to the end of Fisher Avenue.”

“We enjoyed our 1 week stay here. The campground is huge with lots to offer. You can read the list of amenities- plenty to keep everyone entertained. The staff was kind. The grounds were well kept. The dog park is the largest we have ever seen at a campground-so nice. We did not have sewage hookup since none were available when we arrived so we did use the bath houses. Some were cleaner than others so we just made the drive to the better bath house. Internet service in the area was okay. We would definitely stay here again...we plan to.”

“Good little clean park. Small playground for kids and spots to sit for adults. A little boat ramp for small water craft launch. The water is shallow I would make sure you are aware of the tides. Also some small hidden rocks close to the ramp that are just below the surface boater beware.”

“Beautiful scenery by the water with picnic tables, restrooms, and hiking paths. Dog friendly which is awesome. Dighton rock is a good place to get away, lay down a towel and read a book or just walk and play with your dog.”

“I have driven by the Martin Wildlife Refuge for years and years and finally today I stopped to walk through the 35 acre refuge. It was mid-November and most of the leaves had fallen and completely covered the paths. I found the refuge very calming and beautiful. They say Ireland has a 1000 shades of green, but today the Martin Refuge had a thousand shades of Brown. I recommend the Martin Refuge for people who are looking for a short hike through the woods in a fairly flat area with well maintained trails.”

“A nice place to go for walks, though be careful to not get lost. The trees are beautiful and it is all around a great place to be. The only issue would be the trails occasionally have large rocks on them. This creates an issue where me and my family were tripping often but eventually got the hang of balancing and avoiding the rocks hidden underneath the leaves.”

“Nice walk, a bit small compared to other sites in the area but worth a wander”

“Small park with water access for a small canoe or kayak. Picnic table with great view. Small place and at times busy so don't plan to be able to get a spot. Need to be flexible with your plans but wonderful spot to stop.”

“I love camping and hiking here! The RV and camper area seems to get pretty packed in October, but the tent area isn't overly crowded. It's all decorated out for Halloween. When haunted forest is open, you can hear some of that at night, but it isn't bothersome enough to take away from the experience!”
