“I’m asthmatic with terrible allergies and knew the old carpets in my house were a contributing factor. I called the carpet guys and started looking into installing hardwood or laminate. Not something I was thrilled about doing because I hate walking on cold floors. I mentioned it during my in home estimate when I was politely asked to wait a moment while he ran back to his vehicle. He came back with TONS of carpet samples that were allergen friendly! I didn’t know nearly or completely allergen free carpets even existed?! Happy that I could keep my beloved carpets, I started picking away at all the samples. I had a slew of questions and difficulty deciding which carpet I wanted to go with. The salesman was very patient with me and explained everything in great detail. He smiled, answered all my questions and I even went with one of his recommendations. I say this only because I have a very small house and was not a high paying customer. Service you’d expect from someone that was spending a large sum of money with. It’s nice to know there are still good businesses out there. The kind that appreciate each and every customer, from every walk of life.”

“First time here and it was really good! We ordered the pretzel appetizer but they were out. However their popcorn is like very salty movie theater popcorn and it was delicious! I ordered the pretzel bun burger, but it would be better if they used a cheese sauce instead of normal cheese as it was a little dry without a good sauce. Overalp was good and would return to try other meals.”

Since the damage was not worth involving insurance, and could be paid out of pocket for less than the deductible, I called for a few local quotes. Shawn at 23 Mile not only beat out the local competitors on price, but he also got the job started and done within days. The final product was done perfectly and matched well. Some nice extra touches was the wash, wax, interior cleaning, and even a complimentary pick up from my home nearby since I was without a ride and car for a couple days. I would highly recommend Shawn and his crew. Two thumbs up.”

“I haven't been to this location is YEARS! Conveniently located right off I75 not only is it easy to get to but it's also a rather safe location! They have a private parking lot that is next to two different gas stations with easy access to I75 north and south. The parking lot is well lit and clean with beautifully kept landscaping. The inside of the store is updated and somewhat trendy for a roadside diner. The entire store is impeccably clean. There was not one messy table or dirty spot on the floor and I was here during their lunch rush! My waitress (who sadly didn't have a name tag!) was extremely personable and nice. She was attentive and made sure I never had an empty glass. The food was made fresh and fast! It was really good. I only ordered eggs and bacon but I swear whatever they did to that bacon was straight up heaven. I haven't had bacon that good in a loooooong time. Props to the chef and the rest of the staff for a job well done”

“Updated review- I’m changing this rating to 5 stars! My husband and I went here for breakfast and it was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The service was wonderful and you could tell the environment was really positive. Everything was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend for breakfast!! I ordered a roast beef sandwich with some sides to go. Half my order was wrong and the sandwich was subpar at best. I’m really surprised this place had so many good reviews. I will try it again in case this first experience is not normal for them, but I’m not impressed so far!”

“I did have a horrible experience this past weekend, which ended with us waiting over and hour for them to cook our steak up and it still never come out. We ended up leaving with no steak 😞 Manager was nice but acted like he was doing me a favor taking it off the bill, thanks but I should not be charged for something I never got. “I love breakfast. The Old House Family Restaurant does it right. This is a small place, maybe about 10 tables max located in a small strip mall. I wish I would have taken a picture of the menu. It has all of the standard fare. All three of our plates were cooked properly. I can never get over what many restaurant charge for breakfast. The Old House Family offers a well prepared breakfast at a fair price. Service was excellent from the only waitress working. Sassy and prompt service in a good way. Highly recommended.”

“I would give this restaurant 6 stars but only 5 are listed. I went there for the first time with 4 other friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this establishment. The owner Cathy is so personable and Megan is such a little sweetie. They made our visit exceptional. The food was unbelievable. Everything is organic, gluten free and delicious... I had a cup of red pepper and potato soup, cold quinoa black been salad with avocado, and a wonderful sandwich with homemade bread. I cannot wait to go back. I am so glad I don't live too close because I would be living there. This restaurant is success.... Bravo to you..... Please come and visit you will be amazed. God Bless”
