“The park facility is relatively new and quite impressive. There is a very well done 25 minute movie on the earlier events and battles at River Raisin. There are several displays at the Visitor center, huge diorama of Frenchtown , and a gift shop. There are paths outside to tour the battlefield with historical markers. Overall gained a great understanding and appreciation of what happened here and overall northwest frontier. Need to mention that the ranger at the Visitors Center - Tony - was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.”

“The place was disappointing as the pics for the rooms were deceptive (hot tub was supposed to be separate from the bathroom) and the indoor pool (which was kinda chilly) and pool area was cold and dark. No clear instructions were provided in the room for the hot tub either. But the employees were top notch - helping whenever and however they could. Would consider returning the next time for a more reasonable amount of $$ if those employees are there.”

“First time dining here, at the recommendation of a friend! An unassuming establishment from the road (right off 75), and super casual inside with a very attentive and friendly staff. The water side of the restaurant/bar is a whole different story (a ton of seating, docks, stage for live band, etc.)! We ordered the baked potato pizza and infamous clam digger. Wow to both! The variety of pizzas offered is amazing; we were not disappointed and will be back!”

“This is a must when we come back home to visit! Although we enjoy camping here right now they have major construction on the South side which will wake you up early at 7:31 am. Beware if you want to sleep in. Otherwise no problem if you don't mind the bulldozers!! We feel it's a little pricey! Pool closed and with just water it was $56.00 a night.”
