“This park is my little slice of heaven in a busy little city. Beautiful trees with a disc golf course that always has someone playing. The dogs love it. It's quiet enough. Nice reprieve.”

“California has the redwoods, but they do not compare to the beauty of red pole park. This Southfield gem of painted telephone poles makes the redwood forest seem grayscale. The bright red color truly showcases strength and motivates me to use my energy towards love and passion. Throughout your walk you will experience signs providing interactive opportunities for you. Like telling you "you can take a picture" and "you can give a high five." I'm so glad that these existed so I could participate. The red pole park is truly a touching experience. Standing tall over Northwestern highway these bright red poles cannot be missed. I'm poleing for you to come visit. Make sure you prioritize this site while you are in Southfield.”

“If one has any interest in historical homes (or in this case a manor house) this is a fine home to tour. The tour only includes what would have been public areas of the first floor (no kitchens, bedrooms, etc). The architecture is not extraordinary but it is interesting and the interiors are extraordinary. The Booths were supporters of fine craft workers and artisans and the interior appointments demonstrate as much. Some of the detail work, such as above the fireplace in the library, is truly exceptional and makes a visit from a keen-eyed observer well worth the time. The gardens appear beautifully laid out, but we visited in the snow and did not walk through the garden areas. I would commend them to visitors based solely on the visual appeal of their design.”

“I picked up my chicks earlier this week and they are ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing with me the best setup for them!! It was easy and more cost-effective than a lot of other set ups. I have attached a few photos of my chicks chowing down 🐥 and the setup that Todd sent me to make sure I would be successful raising my Silkies. Todd is so friendly and knowledgeable about Silkies. Over the last 20 years I have bought chicks from other breeders and none of them have the knowledge that Todd has and was happy to share what he knew. I could tell he cared about the chicks and wanted all of them to go to a good home 😄. Todd, thank you for CORRECTLY breeding Silkies and sharing your knowledge. It was fun seeing your other animals when I picked up the chicks. Let me know when you have an event so I can bring my kids, they will love seeing your animals 😄😁🐾 I will definitely get my Silkies from you!! Have a wonderful weekend, Michele”

I love the looped trail around the park, the roller hockey rink, and the baseball fields as well. I'm excited to start bringing my son to the playground once camp is done!”

“Great nature center and preserve no matter if you're just going there yourself or are taking the family with. Common wildlife includes deer, chipmunks, squirrels (including black ones), woodpeckers, robins, sparrows, and goldfinches. Deep in the preserve is the Marsh Tower, which is a small elevated wood platform you can walk stairs up to, and it's a nice view from the top. Perfect place to go to in the summer!”

My family have been going to Huber's farm for four generations, we enjoy the feeling and experience of the place. I'm glad when it sold they didn't go to commercial yet. I hope it remains, the family feelings that have been built through the years.”
