“My favorite place to visit in the Cities! Great set up for Covid 19. Send people 5 minutes apart through a one way loop. Always great flowers, plants & birds to see. Pro tip - if you park by cedar lake beach & walk over you won't have to pay for parking. And it's worth the walk!”

“Simple park. Path around the whole thing. Good playground equipment. Great place to take kids!”

“This trail is a peaceful, serene walk. I walked it once in late summer, and while you could hear the traffic from the river road, I felt secluded by the canopy of tree branches and leaves. I walked it again in the fall, and the views across the river to the color of changing leaves was beautiful.”

“Nice quiet park near home, the kids enjoy it!”

“A nice small neighborhood "park" with some history. The stone benches and most of the beehive grills installed as part of "The New Deal" have been removed(for safekeeping, I'm told, as the park is being renovated.) The parking lot itself has no painted lines, so parking is..however you want it to be, I guess. Tucked away at the back of the park is a lovely limestone fountain with water featutes in a state of disrepair. I've seen groups go in and clean the fountain area up, but no actual repsar work in the 20 years I've been visiting this area. Five stars if the get the water features working and put the original benches/grills back. Till then, four stars.”

“Absolutely loved our time here which ended up being a few months since we kept extending our stay. We were fortunate enough to be one of the first people on the new river side lots. Nicest campground we have been to yet! Favorite part was the fire pit. Having a pond and river in walking distance was always an adventure. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Never knew this park existed until I signed my kids up for The Sanneh Foundation soccer camp. Thus was in early June. The field to play on was immense. There is a sufficient kidde pool, only porta-potty bathrooms. Although my kids said the building was open for their bathroom breaks. Playground was pretty nice for the big kids, but felt little kid one could use an upgrade.”

“Took the family and they enjoyed themselves. The hubs and the teenager walked the trail while I watched. The teenager even got on the swings. His only critique was the chains were rusty. The basketball court was full and the kids were laughing and having fun. They have vending machines but the teenager got 3 dollars taken in one so be careful. Peaceful family friendly great atmosphere near shopping and restaurants.”

“Great park. Clean, plenty to do, and has a wading pool. I love that there's a little kid park and a big kid park. I gave four out of five stars because some of the wood in the little kid park is starting to deteriorate. Minneapolis parks seem to have some amazing unique wood playground equipment but it just isn't holding up. Hopefully it can be restored.”

“A nice place to look at the Minneapolis skyline, take a walk around at lunch. Or just eat in your car with a view, because we love our cars! ;-) Nice location, ports-potty and trash/recycling are nice. But just sitting on a bench looking at downtown a few minutes away is a nice place to take a break.”
