“This is a lovely park for camping and the caboose camper cabins they offer are a fun option. My mistake was to come for hiking - the customer service person told me the trails aren’t marked on the map they give out and he didn’t seem to know for sure if there are any or where I could find them. He did tell me to watch out for hunters with bows. The park is fairly small, we didn’t find any actual trails, I would say it is best for family camping since they do offer many different options for that (cabooses, regular cabins, multiple spaces for RVs and tents). There is a small lake with a beach that’s great for swimming, and you can also swim in the river (although the lake is safer). The cabooses should be reserved online first since they are pretty booked up through the summer. Minimum stay is two nights, so they can’t be booked just for an overnight stay. Overall the park is clean, seems safe, and the nature is pretty. We saw lots of different kinds of birds, including a goose nesting right by the camping area.”

“We somehow made a 4hr trip into a 9 hour trip and towards the end, a storm started developing, the wind picked up and the sky began to darken. When bolts of lightning decended from the clouds, we knew we were in trouble. Thankfully we made it to our destination in the nick of time, before the storm arrived. Best day ever!!!!”

“We have been camping here since 1968 as little kids with our paternal grandparents. Our favorite NE State Park. Two Rivers is 302 acres and has 6 gorgeous, well-maintained different campground areas with tons of mature trees all around with some trails too. The bathrooms with showers are kept clean and stocked, and the kids playgrounds are well maintained to be safe. Our favorite camping area is "Cottonwood" campground that borders the Platte river (sentimental reasons), it is filled with very tall and old Cottonwood trees. But all the campsites are great. It has been fun watching Two Rivers develop over the years. The whole park is a beautiful nature setting with 7 lakes and Platte river frontage. Fishing is very good here, and the park also has a nice, clean beach for lake swimming. The Park Rangers have always been kind and helpful. They want it quiet for campers after 10 PM also luckily. There is also a nice sized Two Rivers Concessions store across from the Park office and entrance that has lots of supplies and offers light breakfast/ lunch/ dinner; that has been there for decades. Our family has so many years of excellent memories here and can't wait to make more this Spring camping and fishing here. Sometimes my daughter and I drive here just to walk around for a few hours to be in nature and relax, year round. If you want a geat place near Omaha to go for camping, fishing, hunting, or even a fun day trip to picnic and get outdoors year round, Two Rivers is definitely the place.”

“Great place to escape and enjoy yourself! Wonderful and fun events. Adults can be adults. Outside showers with port-o-pots through out. Great beach access to the river. Great experience watching movies with a fire pit. Highly recommended!!”
