“This has been my 'home church' for going on 27 yrs now. It began in a much smaller location on W. Chestnut st, Union,N.J. then the congregation grew + especially the boys & girls group grew in a big way so a bigger church was really needed. So, like a true Pentecostal church, the Pastor + others fervently prayed for a bigger one... and we got one. The present one is HUGE + Really beautiful . Even though it's called Assembly of God, Pentecostal is part of that grouping. There is a big emphasis on the work of the Holy Spirit here and you can feel it once you become part of the church and spend time there. I received a second 'anointing ' in the Holy Spirit here + several more times afterwards. There is a feeling among most of the members there of being part of a 'team' and there is alot of love shown to each other. This is not to say that it is a perfect church but every church has it's problems in some way or other. In the words of our Pastor's wife - we call Sister 'B' - the church is like a hospital. Some people have unrealistic expectations that in a church are perfect people. That's not the way it works. There are many who are imperfect + have problems. They are there to be ministered to + also to minister to others.”

“It’s a fun, challenging course. However, I have quite a few complaints. The course is poorly managed; not a single employee can be found to ensure course of play is kept or that people stop blasting their music. Players can be often found blasting music making the blissful quiet experience of golf as rare as a unicorn. The pace of play is far too slow for a $50 game of golf. It took us just shy 3 hours to get through the front 9. Most of the fairways are flooded significantly after it rains making most of your shots even more difficult. The entire course has very poor drainage. A lot of the fairways had large puddles of water and nearly all of the area that didn’t was mud. And when it rains, the range can’t be open because it turns to mud. Good luck getting in practice swings before your game.”
