“The room was very spacious and super nice and clean. King size bed is soooooo comfortable and bedding clean and crisp. Had a nice jacuzzi and a shower in large bathroom. It was more like a suite because it was large. The office manager was very helpful and just darned nice. If we’re by this way again we definitely will stay here again! It was a Great Deal!”

“The motel is cozy. I found the room to be clean. It was important to me that the property was quiet. Flat screen televisions with decent channel options. It seems the place is run by one small family and they do a great job of keeping it up. I was very happy to see the same face every time I had a question or a concern. That let me know that the family who owns it is very involved and doesn't just run the place from an uncomfortable distance. They actually live in a house that is on the motel property! It seems like you just don't get that kind of care and full investment in this country anymore. I plan to return often!”

“The Century House is the place to stay in the Albany, NY area. Always a warm welcome with a fire in the lobby fireplace, coffee, tea, iced water, cucumber water available. And after 3 p.m., a huge tureen of soup! The rooms are newly updated with hardwood floors, lighting (not good in the bathroom, but bright in the room), fresh and crisp linens, and spacious drawers and hanging rods. A desk and sofa along with the bed(s) round out the furnishings. Free parking, a delicious breakfast and wonderful staff make a stay here the best value you can find! Thank you for a wonderful visit.”

“Great hotel especially if you have dogs. They normally take two border collie sized dogs but they let me bring in a third for the night and they only charge $10 per dog. The room was clean and everything worked. I was glad to see that there was no carpet just faux wood flooring. Carpet can get suspect and this was nice and clean and great for dogs. I was surprised how quiet it was. I thought being so close to everything it would be a noisy night but it was great. Can’t speak to the breakfast as I did t get down there in time. They also extended the move out time of 11a to 12 for which was great as there was some serious snow to deal with on my car. Great to know of a good place to send my dog people when they come to town. The room was $80 a fair price for what I received.”

“An amazing doggy daycare with caring and well trained staff!! My 19-week-old GSD, Link, always runs out of the car and to the door in excitement so he can play with all his friends, and he always comes home happy and tired! I also love that they have a treadmill that they can train the dogs on, because I was planning on buying a treadmill for a while, so this was a great head start to see if Link liked treadmills before buying one! The previous daycare I had him at felt so unwelcoming and "money first" focused, but here I have had staff give helpful, positive reinforcement tips on Link's training, and have been very warm and friendly to both of us! They also have puppy-focused care that allows the puppies to have more frequent potty breaks and naps, which I haven't seen any daycares nearby that offer that! This place has a lot of love and heart for dogs, so if you're looking for a doggy daycare, this is the place!”

“I was worried about staying here after seeing the reviews but it was too late for me to change reservation. We were pleasantly surprised when we showed up and it was cleaner and nicer than the Quality Inn we stayed in the night before several states away. Obviously and older building, but it seemed better maintained than the previous night. Rooms were clean and quiet. Bed and linens were comfy. Slept well. Waffles were fresh and tasty. Staff was polite and helpful.”

“The hotel is new and modern, and the rooms are big. However, my room had stains on the carpet, and the AC made a weird low volume UFO type noise. Also, the free breakfast is mediocre, and the omelets are ecased in a glass case with a small front door. So, if u get there an hour into breakfast, you can't reach the omelets through the little door with the tongs. Finally, I stayed there a week, and on the 6th morning, I requested housekeeping, got back from work in the evening, and NO housekeeping. Overall, a clean hotel and a good location - just pick up some frozen breakfast to zap in the morning and empty your own trash. Also, the TV remote is ridiculously complicated.”

“From hospitality to grounds keeper every single person we met working at this hotel was pleasant, helpful and gracious. We were treated with great respect and felt welcomed. The hotel was exceptional in every aspect. We did find the beds a little firm but that was easy to overcome considering every other appointment was lovely. We spent three nights and ate breakfast three mornings and dinner in the hotel two nights. The lounge and restaurant offerings were not typical hotel fare. The mixologist easily made custom drinks and the food was served elegantly. After our vacation was over and we met our aging sister and her aging dog - they also spent one evening. The dog was having trouble walking on bare floors and the assistant manager found a runner to put in the guest room to accommodate the dog. WHAT? The staff at this hotel clearly wants to succeed. Thank you!”

“The staff were polite and very engaging. I stayed in the one bedroom suite which was beautiful and roomy. I brought my two dogs with me which turned out well. The dog area outside was huge and had plenty of room for them to run. The breakfast was tasty and the hotel was very clean. The only issue that I had was that the tub drainage was not good. My weekend stay was great overall!! I will definitely be back to stay again.”

Very nice and helpful. Will definitely be staying there again, and I would recommend this hotel! Nice rooms, clean and doesn't smell like mildew like some motels lol!
