“I had to take my cat Olive here on an emergency basis, she needed an ultrasound and my primary vet encouraged me to go ASAP. Olive was accepted a few hours later and one of the vets called me within 30 minutes. Olive wasn't doing well, she needed to be kept in an enclosure that was oxygenated until the ultrasound could be done the next day. The doctor went over pricing with me, it was expensive but I swallowed the 1600-2000 dollar estimate and told them to do what they needed. They kept her over night and the next morning I got the diagnosis. It wasn't good, but I was appreciative of a few things. They quoted me for a bi-cavity ultrasound but they deemed it as unnecessary and did a single cavity ultrasound saving a few hundred dollars. There was also multiple doctors reviewing the information and coming up with the diagnosis. They also gladly sent over the diagnostic reports without much fuss. The prices seem expensive but everything just adds up. If I had waited another day I probably wouldn't have been able to bring olive home for her final night. Final bill was also under the initial estimate.”

“This place had a really bad rep when it first opened last year. Today I needed my Chipotle fix and I have to say the order, pickup and the food were perfect. Actually this is probably one of the best Chipotle orders I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and the correct temperature, quantity and quality was perfect…. Even remembered my two tortillas for my side. A very good experience and I will return regularly now that, I hope, all the new store bugs have been worked out. As a general rule I’m a big fan of Chipotle and this solidifies it.”

“I highly recommend this facility. I first went to the Emergency Veterinarian Hospital on Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, New York because it was closer to where I live (I called the phone number that was taped to the front door) around 10:30pm on Wednesday. July 1st. But, I was turned away because ALL the veterinarians were busy. I pleaded and begged the receptionist to help my dog "Lana" (American Foxhound) that was having a Grand Mal seizure. Her response was the same ..the veterinarians were to busy. I still continued to beg and plead With no avail. I was beside myself. I rushed her to Orchard Park Emergency Hospital. I called Orchard Park when I was on my way... while my beautiful Lana was thrashing about in the back of my vehicle. I was told to call back when I got close to there hospital. I called 3 minutes before arriving and 5 staff members were there to greet me and to try to save her life. She stopped moving when I arrived. The staff members picked her up and sprinted to try to save her (CPR and a shot for the seizure)..but, it was to late. They never asked me for payment..I had to ask them for the invoice. Doctor Burke was very professional, courteous , saddened for our loss and took the time to talk to my Mother and I. I should say the entire staff was the same. I highly recommend this facility. Everyone tried to help my Lana. I would give them a 10 STAR if I could. If you have an emergency with your four legged loved one...I advise and highly recommend Orchard Park Emergency Hospital. You won't be disappointed. The entire staff were so kind and heartfelt knowing my loss and not being able to save my Lana.”

“This IS THE BEST VET IN NEW YORK CITY. I've never met a vet more committed to animals in my life. Dr. Appel performed an emergency surgery on my little Persian kitten. Kenny ate something that was blocking his digestive system. He was throwing up and wouldn't eat for days and most likely would have died without the surgery. After speaking with two other animal hospitals in Manhattan, I found this hospital. Unlike other surgeons, Dr. Appel took my fur baby in at around 11pm on a Friday! Most vets aren't even available that late at night without extra fees, but this Dr. was open and quoted me a much more affordable price. He was so attentive and helpful. He's been in business since the 70's and he's still got it! (I saw his diplomas from both Cornell and NYU on the wall in the office). I'm so happy to report my kitty is doing great (2 weeks after his procedure). I'd like to thank Dr. Appel and his staff for an amazing experience. Thank you for saving Kenny's life! “We have a rescued family of 4 cats, mom and her offspring. Dr, Salemi has been excellent with them. We are fairly new clients; just coming up on two years. Having found our felines, we first turned to rescue groups and the A.S.P.C.A. and have gone to other vets during those first very trying months. We actually remembered Northside Animal Hospital from awhile back after having found a baby opossum on our street. It was late on a Saturday, Sean, the person at the desk was most helpful in giving advice, and has a wonderful, caring phone manner as do all the staff here. We are very satisfied!”

“Have only had a few visits but everytime has been really great. 6 weeks ago I called for weight loss advice for my cat, one of the vets left me a followup VM callback and emailed me with three feeding/kcal plans for dry food, wet or both. That's just awesome. Today went smoothly with waiting in the car, them taking Louie at the door, the phone call with the vet followup in my car, and paying over the phone. I'm so glad they're only 10 mins from where I live. Everyone is friendly and helpful on the phone or in person and in my experience they are not product or random test-pushers like some animal hospitals, which is a huge consideration. I genuinely feel cared for.”
