York Hill Yadkin River Access

Address: High Rock Lake, Linwood, NC 27299, USA

Park

“Nice little park off of 70 right on the Yadkin river. Beautiful scenery! Also has historic information available on signs. Went to the park one day for breakfast with my brother and we ate biscuits and watched the trains go by across the way. There is access from the upper park down to the boat ramp area right on the river. The old bridge is now just for pedestrians and bicycles. If you walk across the bridge you can say you walked all the way from Davidson County to Rowan County!”

Yadkin River Park

Address: 11418 Old Salisbury Rd, Linwood, NC 27299, USA

Park

“This new park is fantastic! I technically went before it opened because I didn't know the hours are Dawn to dusk..but my dog and I enjoys walking across the bridge and watching the cars and trains pass by, as well as the moon reflection off the river. We walked down the steps, but we'll go back when the sun's up to do some real exploring. (I work night shift, so 6am is late in the day for me)”
