“Walked in 10 minutes before closing and was welcomed with open arms! We felt so bad when we realized they closed at 9 we tried to get up and leave and they literally wouldn’t let us lol. Not one foul word or bad attitude seen that we walked in as they were closing. Was greeted with a hello, food was fast and great and EVERYONE working had a smile on their face! Such a GREAT atmosphere!! Wish we lived closer so could visit often, but I know where we’re stopping when we do pass through!”

“Cool little restaurant right on the Ohio river with boat dock access. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was well priced and tasted pretty good. Only complaint was the French fries were undercooked. Mango habenro, bbq and garlic Parmesan were great on the wings. Good house burger options and tasty fish sandwich. As other reviewers mentioned it’s slower on the service side so just expect that, they are all super friendly though. Will be back next time I’m in the area.”

“WOW!!! This is my second time eating at a Giovanni’s and it did not disappoint. On a recommendation i tried the baked spaghetti and I usually will not order spaghetti out. but I can say, without a shadow of a doubt I would order this again. The noodles were cooked very well. You may not think this is hard, but I just had pasta from a large well known chain restaurant, and they were way over cooked. Now the pepperoni pounder, that thing lives in a planet, all by itself. You may think it’s just a pizza, but it’s not! This pizza is incredible. The pepperonis have just the best flavor, a little bit of Christmas a little bit of pepperoni juice sitting in the middle. And then on top of that their sauce is really good! all in all it is a great pizza. If you get a chance to go to a Giovanni’s do so you will not regret it.”

“Okay pizza. I ordered a gluten-free pizza with pepperoni and extra cheese. They load on the cheese when you get extra cheese! I would consider their extra cheese to be double cheese or triple cheese it's a whole lot of cheese. Fortunately I like lots of cheese. The mountain of cheese however did not make up for the crust. The gluten free crust was thin and flat which is okay if you're making a thin crust that's crispy but this was a thin flat semi crispy crust that was a little too flexible. It was good and I would order it again if I had to but there are other local pizza places with gluten free crusts. If I'm in the mood for a mountain of cheese on my pizza again though Grandma's Pizza is where I will order from! When I picked up the pizza the girl told me they don't sell very many gluten free crust pizzas and she was actually a little out of practice making them. She said the first one she made was way too doughy. She actually gave me that pizza in addition to one that was crisper but also a bit doughy. Very friendly I'll probably try the no dough pizza next time.”

“Went last night, Friday, October 28, 2022. I thought it would more people with it being so close to Halloween. But, it was not crowded at all. I didn’t purchase any food there. So, I can not say anything about it other than that they have food options. I did however get a hot chocolate that was one of the best I have ever had. You have to pay to go to the town even if you are not participating in the trail. I thought that kinda sucked. Maybe you could at least have a reduced price for people who prefer not to do the trail. But, hey they have to make money. I am sure that isn’t cheep to run a little town like that. We had a great time walking around the town and watching the live entertainment in the middle. The shops were great as well. You can get your Tarot cards read. Have a beer at one of the bars. They have plenty of photo opportunity’s in the town. I wish I would have taken more. There’s a screen outside for movies but they weren’t playing anything on it. While you wait for your turn for the trail you can walk around the town and they will text you when it’s your turn. The trail was okay. I was in the back of our group and was always just standing there while they did whatever to the people with a red bracelet in the front and never knew what was going on. So my experience was walking through the woods and looking at a few spooky scenes. I had not one scary moment. So no jump scares. Everything was for people with the red band. I can say that all the actors were VERY good! They just were not scary. Just kinda spooky. But the acting and scenery was really, really great! This place has so much potential and I can not wait to see what they can bring to life here. *NOTE• If you get the red bracelet, you WILL get wet and dirty! Bring a change of clothes, something to put you phone into so it doesn’t get wet/muddy.”
