“I have an old chair that has been in the family for 3 generations. My niece and nephew somehow got a hold of it during the holidays and they broke 2 legs off. I don't know how it was even possible as it's solid wood, and I thought the piece was unrepairable. Well I called around locally and no one really wanted to touch it, and a lot of places flat out don't even do repairs. However, once I met the owner Al overhere he reassured me that not only could he repair it, but (if I wanted to) he could also refinish it and make it look like it did 100+ yrs ago. The price was up there but he showed me 1st hand the process and countless hours that goes into something like this. I though it was worthy because not only is it an old family piece, but they sure as hell don't make furniture like they used to! Well needless to say the chair I inherited looks brand new. Al went above and beyond by fixing dents, nicks, and scratches that were very noticeable, but now I can't even point out where they previously were! I don't know what the chair looked like brand new a century ago, but I'm guessing the way it looks now was better than when my family bought it!! I'm extremely impressed and will be bringing other furniture pieces here in the near future. I don't know why everything wood has no reviews yet, and I'm happy to be the first. If you get a piece repaired and/or refinished here leave Al a review so he gets credit where it's due. Like all my other 4-5 star reviews, I'd recommend Al's everything wood to anyone and everyone! I went to Home Depot and their supply of lawnmowers at this time in the fall season was limited. Plus the customer service person who helped me wasn't really trying to give me any additional options, so that didn't leave a great impression in my mind with this particular experience 😖 I decided to go check out Dunn Hardware and was glad I did. They only had one brand they were selling at this time;however, the very helpful man was able to tell me about the brand and its overall reliability. He wasn't just trying to sell me the product just to make a sale, he was letting me know I was getting a good mower for a good price. That experience was something you don't get at the larger retailers. I purchased the EGO LI-N electric lawnmower and I'm happy with my purchase. He reminded me to go online to register my mower for the warranty and helped me take the box out to my car. “We used the the Kaye Construction team to remodel two bedrooms into a primary bedroom w/ a bathroom addition and a walk-in closet in our 100+ year old Lakewood home. Ron's experience in working on older homes allowed as to discuss some of our different options and price points when talking through the quoting process, and we didn't feel pressured to make a decision. They were flexible with a couple of additions/adjustments to plans during the beginning stages of the process. Josh and the rest of the team did quality work, and they did a really good job matching to the original trim/baseboard in areas that required it. We would definitely look at using the Kaye team again for future projects.”
