“A beautiful, affordable getaway. You pull back on a wooded road that leads you to the historic cabin. There is a beautiful large pond, and if you walk a few steps into the woods you’ll see that you are situated on a ledge surrounded by the river and hog back ridge. Tons of hiking, beautiful woods surrounding the cabin and the inside of the cabin is just as beautiful. The large stone fire place and vaulted ceilings make you feel cozy and right at home. The wood burning stove in the quaint kitchen are a perfect sight while cooking up dinner.”

“The Resort at Erie Landing is amazing! The staff, the grounds, the accommodations and the management are all wonderful. Jen goes above and beyond to help make sure we have the best time. This was our third year going and we are already planning to book for next year. The resort has so much to offer for all ages. The entertainment and the activities are all so much fun. They really take the time and care to ensure that every camper has a positive experience. “I bought a place here in May. Since I have been here they have repaved the roads. That was the only thing that was a problem. This is a very nice community. Its quiet here. Friendly neighbors. The managment does a fantastic job with upkeep of the grounds. There are trailers for sale here that are vacant, but renovations have been done to the ones owned by the park. I found this place through my parents experience in the RV side, which I might add is very well maintained, and accommodating for all types of RVs. My parents had a 35 footer, and had plenty of parking. All in all, a nice quiet community, no sign of drugs or run down trailers. Has access to Lakewood local schools, and Millersport school district. Lot rent is fair, and compared to the other parks in Buckeye Lake, this is by far the best.”

“I stopped in Gettysburg Estates to inquire about the homes in this community, I was greeted by Jorita Carr, she introduced me to her staff, Sarah, Sylvia and Adam. They all were very nice and happy to show me a few of the homes. Sarah and Adam took me around the community showing all the amenities the community had to offer. It truly is a beautiful place and very welcoming. Even a few of the residents stopped to talk to us and told me how much they loved living there. Its in the top 3 places I have inquired about.”

“Absolutely beautiful location. The room was so nice. I loved the little fireplace area and having access to the back deck. The bed was very comfortable. The entire stay was nice and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. I am not a huge bacon fan but omg the candied bacon was amazing. The French toast and berries was to die for. It was one of the best breakfasts I have had at a bnb. The exterior was lovely as well. We were able to walk around and see the grounds and it was beautiful. I loved my stay here and look forward to returning in the future.”

“We overnighted here in July 2023 and had a delightful experience. At the first call for information we were treated kindly and given options and information for our arrival. Easy entry via key pad. Our pup was welcomed with a reasonable fee. The room was truly charming. Authentic retro and spotless. Cozy and sparkling clean. Not even spiders and nasty things in the corners. Bed, pillows and linens were great and we had a comfortable, quiet night. The grounds are beautiful. I wish we had had more time to enjoy them. You will want to cross the road in the morning for the fresh made donuts and gifts. The cream cheese donut was heavenly.”

“The Old Vermilion Jailhouse is completely unique and completely charming. We stayed overnight after dinner at Chez Francois. If you are a couple or a family of four, this would be a cool place to stay. While not a traditional B&B, hosts Markos and Marla provide a well-stocked mini-fridge, and they have a lot of supplies in the bathroom, including earplugs. The Jailhouse is right next to railroad tracks, but I didn't find it overly loud. Markos was great to work with and we can't wait to come back in warmer weather!”

“Stayed at the rooms under suburban. Decent rate, but right on the atrium where a wedding reception was taking place. Was super loud, even in the room so we ended up leaving until the reception was finished and returning late at night (after 2am) to make sure we could get some sleep. When checking in we did not know there was going to be a loud reception right outside our door that evening. If I was made aware would've tried to go across the street.”

“I have relatives who live in this mobile park and I have to say it is a really nice, well-kept one. You can tell that everyone who lives here pretty much takes pride in their home and they also fix the roads ,there were a few potholes. This community is only about half a mile from the 71 exit which would make it very convenient for commuters to Columbus or Mansfield. The majority of the trailers are newer and just single wide. They also have a covered bus stop area for the kids which is really nice. This place would get a five if they had some kind of Park area. I don't know that they do have one but they also have a larger parking area for owners to put their boats and RVs so I can actually say 4 and a half. Just a quarter mile down the road is a new Pharmacy. There is a nice dental office, you've got 2 gas stations or 3 if you count the one on the other side of the interstate exchange. Also a Taco Bell that's not too wonderful. Definitely worth a look-see for a small family of four.”
