“Service with a smile. This was our first weekend on the river, so we were exploring and comparing it to the lake life. On our Sunday morning stroller we needed a few gallons of gas and we slid right into this location. Didn't have to leave the boat! Great customer service and the gas was not as high as I thought it would be. We will definitely go back here when we are on the water and need fuel.”

“This was a great little family campground. The tent spaces were on the small side. You are up close and personal with your neighbor. We stayed during the week so we did not have any neighbors. The campground is in the middle of farm land which is so peaceful. There were a lot of activities for the kids. We were there to have a place to stay while going to Cedar Point. This was perfect for that. The bathhouse is well maintained. There were workers attending to new renovations as we stayed. It is great seeing owners keeping the facilities well maintained and improving them.”

“I need to share a little bit about my story! I decided late in the year to compete for Mrs. Ohio which is held in Mount Vernon every year. Because I was a bit late to the game it was hard for me to find a hotel in the area (plus there was a wedding going on that took up all the room blocks) I managed to get one night at the grand hotel (which was where the competition was being held) but I wasn’t able to secure the second night. Through my booking, they set me up in the super 8, which was the only thing available in 20 miles, so.. I had to take it! After checking in to the grand hotel, the group of ladies at the front we’re looking out for my safety and told me, they absolutely could not sleep knowing I would be staying there and started working hard on finding me a much better and safer option… I am extremely grateful! This is where angel Katy steps in! She over heard everyone trying to help me out and stepped in, offering her Woodland space. I was a bit nervous because I had never stayed in an “airbnb” type house that was attached to someone’s home. But let me tell you!!!!! It’s Amazing. When you pull up, the back portion of the home is completely private and faces the woods, there is your own patio with a fireplace and grill. Walking in, I couldn’t believe my eyes, everything was perfect!!!! I can tell you I felt like we walked into a vacation home for the night. Katy had crumble cookies waiting for us, gorgeous cupcakes & custom wine glasses with a bottle of wine. I had told her my husband was coming to stay with me as well and it was out anniversary. This was such a welcoming and “over the top” gift she had left for us! The bathroom (as well as the entire place) is spotless with a few needed toilet items! Katy truly put every detail into this. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels in my life and never have we felt the hospitality & thoughtfulness as when we stayed here. We WILL be back and I can’t wait!! “We rented trailer 405 while we fished on Erie for a couple days. The trailer was great for our group of 8. The main living area was terrific! Spacious and plenty of seating for all of us. There are three bedrooms with two twins in each of them. Two slept on couches. Unfortunately, we lost partial power and we lost the air conditioner for the last day, but they were willing to move us if we wanted to. You'll want to bring in your own water to drink. The water comes into the place in a garden hose and those can deteriorate over time and release things in the water. The RV park itself was nice and the people were nice to work with. The gas station is across the street with the Wild Wings restaurant and lounge. There is also a Dollar General across the road that has a lot of things that you may have forgotten for your trip.”

“My college friends and I had a great time at the Place at the Bay for a bachelorette party and we felt like we were at home. The whole house was very private and beautiful and cozy and seemed almost brand new even though it obviously wasn't. We wanted the private space to hang out, but still be able to use the pool across the street. When I visit Put-in-Bay again with family to visit my Uncle Chuck, I'm definitely booking my stay here again (and hopefully Mom stays too and helps pay like she did the last time we had a family getaway!).”

“Loved it!!! We had a great time as a family including the dogs!!! Was alot of fun for me and my kids my husband did his diving and I got to watch and learn and had some dive time myself. When I wasn't diving me and the kid's with the dogs got to swim in a little area. It was very nice just remember water shoes and bug spray. We camped for 2 nights and everyone was very nice. We are already talking about going back. Super fun place.”

“We have the two group campground sites and they were wonderful for the 18 in our group. It is tent only. Wilderness only miles from the city. Flush toilets cleaned every day. There is a pavilion for the campers but picnic areas are in other areas of the park.”
