“We came in late, but the owner's daughter was very friendly and showed us to our booth. We were given our menus, and our drinks came out quickly. I'm an egg roll guy, a major fan. My heart did a little jump when I read the description in their menu. They make their own dough. I had to order one. My husband ordered kung po beef. I ordered empress chicken. We got into a conversation with a *very* nice couple two tables over as our food arrived. Unfortunately, it lasted halfway through my chicken, but no biggie. I love good conversation as much as I love good food. We were blessed with both! Again, I'm an egg roll guy. This one was very good. That dough they make? It's astonishingly crispy. The filling was *full* of well-seasoned pork. I really enjoyed it, even if it was a bit greasy. The empress chicken was full of veggies and peanuts. I ordered it medium spicy. It had a nice amount of heat, not painful. Warm. The chicken was tender, not rubbery. The brown sauce was a bit too sweet, but it did well marrying the dish to the white rice. My husband's kung po was similarly a bit sweet, but there was a nice hint of Hoisin sauce to it. Even though we showed up a half hour before closing time, we didn't feel rushed. Now to the interior. It is dated, and a bit dingy. I noticed some dust and cobwebs around some of the fixtures. It needs a deep cleaning. If you want to eat in a sterile environment, this is not the place for you. On the other hand, for us this was more like visiting a family table, in their home. Trust me when I tell you if you invite me over to share a meal, I won't be noticing whether or not your ceilings are free of some dust. For us, this *is* a place we'll visit again, especially because the first page of their menu is Vietnamese food. Phó and spring rolls? Yes please. 🙂”

“So, walking into this place, I didn't have very high expectations. And I was blown away. While it may look run down, the food is the complete opposite. When our food came out, I was amazed at how good it looked and smelled. The food was so hot and fresh that I burnt my mouth several times while waiting for it to cool. “I liked we could reserve our seating ahead of time. Not sure if it's possible to request a table with chairs instead of a high top with stools but it'd be nice if we could. We were seated at a high top and we had 3 small children in our group as well as my mobility challenged 85 yo mother who had significant trouble climbing up on the stool. The service was good. Attentive but not intrusive. The food was good as well although the appetizer selection is very limited. Onion rings were superb but they only came as a side not an appetizer. I did request my sandwich on a hoagie bun but it still came on a pretzel bun which I'm not fond of. All in all it was a nice place to eat and when the weather is nice they have a ton of outdoor seating. I'm sure we will return.”

Decided to finally give it a try after hearing a lot of good things about their burgers and fish and ended up wishing that I hadn’t missed out on this place all these years! “I loved everything about this place. We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and Xtra sauce, large anti-pasta salad, and jojo's. The salad was very fresh and the pizza was delicious. I'm Italian so I'm hard to impress and you guys did it. Your pizza reminded me of when I was a kid and my father would take me to an old world pizza place not like today with all these commercial pizza chains popping up all over the place. I loved biting into a slice and watching the sauce ooze out through the holes in the cheese. You really brought back a lot of memories today. “Nice place. Scenery is full of the town's team, Bulldogs. There's a pool table. There's a few other things that give a nice vibe. I've never seen a pizza where the pepperoni is under the cheese. That's how they do it here though lol I'm from NY and every pizzeria has spices that you can add. At the very least garlic and pepper. They only had some spicy pepper flakes, what? My wife didn't like it much but my daughter and I thought it was good enough. Had a ton of cheese. I'd life to try their other menu items another day.”
