“I have been taking my cats here for several years now and have always been impressed with the staff and services. Everyone, from the front desk to the veterinarians, are kind and professional - and it is clear they really care about their patients. My oldest cat, Cathy, had been developing old lady ailments at the age of 16 for the last year or so. Earlier this month, we were advised she likely had cancer and were advised of our options. We took her home to keep her comfortable and enjoy what were likely our last days with her. A week later, her health had taken a significant turn and we scheduled a quality of life assessment. We knew coming in that Cathy would be crossing the rainbow bridge that day and I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion my husband and I (and Cathy!) received during our appointment. It is such a difficult thing to lose a member of your family this way and I felt supported every step of the way to make the best decision for Cathy. She was handled with dignity and made to feel as comfortable as possible. In the end, I feel confident we gave Cathy the best healthcare and chance for life we could in her final years and we absolutely could not have done that without the staff here at Stow Kent Animal Hospital. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who asks and am glad my other cat Ghostie will continue to have such dedicated care until he joins Cathy in the big cat tree in the sky.”

“I do TNR and have had almost 100 cats fixed here since they opened. I have also had my personal kitties fixed here. I have had no issues and the staff is wonderful. They have helped me with additional medical services that my ferals/strays have needed and charge the bare minimum. I honestly don't know how they do it with such low prices or how I could have helped so many without them. I drive an hour there and back just to use them because they are that wonderful. “We have a difficult situation with our dogs. Our Doxie was mailed by another dog and after surgery and stitches and drains, etc. He cannot be around other dogs except for ours, and he is terrified of other ppl. We also have an elderly dog with a tumor in her ear that she constantly scratches at and rips her ear open as well as a skin condition that make her loose big patches of her hair. We brought our dogs, after years of never being able to take a vacation together as a family bc of the dogs. April immediately took the difficult Doxie outside climbed in her lap after about 10 mins. She was able to GIVE HIM A BATH! Both dogs were well cared for and had baths when we picked them up. Our Doxie was cool with her when we left and I was so impressed 😁. I was so happy with how everything went. I'm already planning a trip with my husband this fall! So happy!”

“Animal Care Center of Fairfield became our dog Cookie's veterinarian in 2018, when she was 13. Since then Cooke has been treated for multiple ailments by multiple doctors there. They all were excellent. Always explained the condition and options, and helped us make informed decisions. When it was beyond them, they referred us to specialists. Since 2020 we selected Dr. Rachel as Cookie's vet, and she has been phenomenal. She is patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated. She has a collaborative approach where she explained everything, and asked us to select what is best for us (and Cookie). During every visit, she took at least 20 minutes to answer our questions and always returned our calls promptly-often staying back after her hours. When Cookie got terminally ill, Dr. Rachel was an asset, a pillar of strength to our family. Finally when we had to let Cookie go, she and Ashley were there with us in their professional roles, but we felt like we had two additional family members. Everyone at the Animal Care Center was there for us and we are thankful to all of them. If I ever have a pet again, I would entrust that pet with Dr. Rachel and Animal Care Center of Fairfield.”

“We took our youngest female cat in to be spayed. This was our first time using this clinic. We have had 2 other females fixed at another clinic in Brown County with mixed results. The services we received here have more than net our expectations. We used a voucher from the Scathing Post in Cincinnati. When we picked her up this morning our total was $4 after the voucher, and they sent her home with 2 days of pain meds at no extra cost. The incision was very small compared to the others we've had done, as well as the shaving was kept to minimum. I am very happy with the services and will definitely be using this center from now on.”

“They have some great people working there. I went with our new puppy for the first time the other day and was really glad we went there. They helped us out allot. The price was lower than I was expecting to which is nice. Update: We have gone several times now getting our puppies shots and they are helping take care of a urinary tract infection she has. They will be getting her spayed when she's old enough and will be chipping her while she's under. They are Really good Doctor's and really know there stuff.
