“Really neat park has lots to do my kids enjoyed the playground it had some different features you don't usually get at a playground. There's Frisbee golf mini golf trails pool with large slides tennis court bathrooms a huge tower to climb and lookout an auditorium and a couple pavillions”

“There's just nothing equal to this sports park anywhere around. When the new playground/splash pad is finished (it's coming along nicely) this will remain a state of the art facility. I love when the city stays proactive and takes care of fixing things before they go to total hell (Elm Creek Park). They're on top of things here and we will have people from far far away coming to this place. I bet nearly all leave impressed.”

“It's came along ways from when i was as child. For that reason I gave it a 4 star rating. There are a few things that could be added but it's a good place to take your kids for a little play time.”

“I did a forest bathing session and it was a very cool way to spend an afternoon! Highly recommend. Note that there is a shooting range nearby. It definitely affected the ambiance of the space for me. Important to note if loud noises are a trigger for you as they are for me.”

“We were passing through and needed a place to crash for the night. the host couldn't have nicer. They have full hook ups. We ended up using their shower, which was the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen in a campground! 5 stars!!”

“This is a nice area of Fort Gibson Lake and a beautiful place to camp. There's an attendant at the entance. Lots of places to hook up if you have a camper, or you can use a tent. Dogs must be on a leash. The restrooms were close by, but I didn't go there because we used the camper one. I have used them in the past, and they were fine, with showers, if I remember correctly. Good swimming and fishing off the banks. Our friends were camping, so we came down to visit them for the evening. They do jug fishing, so we went with them on their boat to check the lines for caught fish, which were added to the others that they had already caught, and we had a delicious fish fry! The sunrises/sunsets are magnificent! Except for the children across the Bay playing in the water, it was completely silent! Of course, during the daytime, it can be loud with boats and is crowded during holidays and weekends! We had a great time! Fort Gibson is a large gorgeous lake with many areas like this one. It's popular, so it's best to reserve a site to make sure that you will have one when you come here.”

“Quiet location away from traffic, two playground areas with picnic tables for the adults. Poop bags are stocked and fresh running at the fountains! Two thumbs up! If you don’t find shade here, you were not here.”

“Fun park especially for young children. I would have given it five stars but there are no restroom facilities. There are picnic tables, grills, plenty of trash cans, swings, a playland with slides, a fence surrounding the park, and a baseball field. There is room for restrooms and it's something I hope the city adds at some point.”

“My son wanted to have his birthday party there and play basketball with all his friends. The community center was very accommodating we had the court to ourselves the entire time they were open and everyone had a blast.Thank you to everyone involved.”

“I used to come here when I was very young with my CB because this is the highest spot around and it's nice to see that the park is still in good condition and they have upgraded it for the modern generation”

“Great place for local folks to spend a day swimming, picnicking, hanging out and relaxing. I wouldn’t recommend it as a “tourist destination” but a great place to spend time if you’re already local. There’s tons of shady trees around the picnic area, but little tree coverage around the rest of the park. This is a day-use area only, and a fee area. It gets quite crowded on summer afternoons, but you’re able to spread out well enough. It’s not the cleanest beach, but certainly not the worst. The restrooms leave a lot to be desired but are functional. The picnic area feels like a full typical campground vibe without the campsites. Cement benches, grills and small campfire pits. Tons of great trees to hang hammocks, and it generally stays a little cooler thanks to the lake being on either side of you.”

“I loved this place. There are A LOT of life guards so if you don't plan to follow rules I wouldn't go here. For me it was perfect because they kept the big kid OFF the younger kids splash pad. Rather than letting them run everybody over, the life guards are on point here. It was super cheap to get in. Its 1/2 price after 4pm on Thursdays. So we were there for 4 hours for like $10. The lockers rent for $4 which isn't too bad and the size was nice. The only problem I had the entire day was that someone at the concession stand was kind of rude about taking wet money. Oh well what can ya do. This place is an awesome place to take kids.”

“Great local park, playground for the kids (5-12 ish), and pond and a walkway for the romantic or the adventerous. The park does have a curfew, and there is property, so watch out for that. Definitely try to stay out of the woody path during the time when all of the bugs come out!”

“Love coming here to ride my bike. The trails are decent, the view is nice, the only irritation is with people not knowing how to share the bike lanes. People walking in the bike lanes or taking up the whole lane, it's very dangerous. Other than that the staff is usually pretty good about keeping this place up to spec. The gathering is a really cool place, they've done an amazing job over the last couple years rebuilding this park. I really enjoy coming and spending the day riding. They have a park for kids as well.”

“This pollinators area is beautifully overgrown and wild. Finding a place to not trample and set up tent, was tricky. So we grabbed the run down pavilion. Paved roads throughout.”
