“Absolutely and without a doubt one of the BEST staff/management I have worked with. They are accommodating, helpful, creative and willing to work with you to give you all that you want in your event, and more. There aren't a lot of places where you say to yourself "yes, I was treated so well that I would return for future business and continue to build a relationship with them" and that is how I felt with Abernethy. I worked with Kassandra and she was wonderful and kind!!!! I will return for all future business and events and use The Abernethy Center, because hey are worth it!! I HIGHLY recommended them and to put your trust in them to take care of you on your special day or event.”

“I live fairly close by and have been wanting to walk through the park, but I've found it kind of scary. That changed today. The forest is lovely and well used by other members of my neighborhood. I'm looking forward to exploring the other trails.”

“A beautiful hidden gem. There is an easy, paved trail around the lake, a lot of nice grassy areas and a playground. It is a great place for a walk, for children to learning to ride bikes and even a bit of fishing. It is often filled with parents with toddlers and strollers. There are ducks, cormorants, kingfishers and blue herons regularly. Occasionally a green heron, turtle or osprey is spotted along with more serious photographers.”

“This place is actually really fun and interesting. It's a bit of a hike but it's worth it since there are things to look at on the way. I went there for photography and it was SO FUN. My pictures came out great and I think you should go if you like stuff like that. There are caves as well they're full of graffiti art which was so artistic.”

“Beautiful fall day to enjoy well marked trails, and we and the public very thoughtfully wore masks, kept our distance, as signs also reminded us, while walking or jogging. We saw several seniors enjoying the trail as well as younger families. We had a wonderful stretch of the legs on the Vine Maple Trail. So very fortunate to have such a large, well planned, wooded recreation area close to home!”

“Very nice place to enjoy a long bike ride along during the day, it offers beautiful scenery with various different types of landscapes along the way. If you are looking for a new trail to explore, this could be one. It is pretty long as well. When it settles into night I would not recommend it as the safest place. Other than that, it's an amazing trail!”

“My family & I spent a weekend looking into local history around the Barlow Trail. This was a great stop. I wish the home had been open so we could see inside, but the set-up of the homestead was interesting to picture. It would be nice to stop here when there are people available to explain the historym”

“There are tons of little side trails to explore beyond the actual loop. Nobody seems to be wearing masks, but at least it's pretty easy to hop off the trail and avoid contact when you do encounter those not wearing them. The trail isn't super busy, and there are so many beautiful large trees keeping the hot sun off of you.”
