“Very nice hotel! Clean, quiet, comfortable. Convenient location. The biggest shower I've ever seen. Has a nice outdoor seating area. The breakfast bar had a vast selection, but nothing hot, and not much protein. (I came late, there may have been some earlier.) Sheetz is next door though, and several other restaurants are nearby. That's a very trivial complaint, though, and I had a lovely overnight stay.”

“Stayed at Hummingbird Guest Nest on 8/17/18 with my son. Easily made day-of arrangements over phone with Smitty, the affable owner. Perfect set-up for 2-3 person kayaking group. (Possibly more than 3?) Full kitchen area, living room area, and 3 bedrooms (not sure but possibly all Queen-sized beds). Bathroom with shower. Rack for hanging rinsed-off boating gear. Porch. Fire ring (which we will use on our next visit.) Spic and span clean. Non-smoking. Endearing photos of raft-guiding son. Reasonable pricing. Located on Blaine Street which is up the hill (up Sheridan Street) from the Falls Market Restaurant and Inn located at the intersection of Route 381 and Sheridan Street in "downtown" Ohiopyle. Overall impression? Could not ask for more given the ample space, cleanliness, price, and location.”

“My wife and I recently stayed at Starlight Hill with the Hay family. The experience was wonderful. The Hays were extremely accommodating especially since we were last minute. We were only needing lodging for one evening and arrived late at that. Upon arrival, the family was enjoying a nice evening by the wood burning fireplace. We spent the next hour visiting and listening to stories of the farm. The Hays really make you feel like family. Breakfast the next morning was amazing (omelettes, sausage from the local butcher, fresh baked blueberry bread and fresh fruit). If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying at Starlight Hill.”

“I absolutely adored our stay here. This was our first trip away together and we had the absolute best time. I contribute 50% to the location, comfort, and amenities provided by Falls Market Inn & Suite, and the other half to the handsome man who took me away for a lovely weekend. If you get the opportunity and are a more advanced hiker, check out Jonathan Falls. It absolutely does not get the notoriety it deserves. Going with fresh snow literally made it feel magical. 💕”

“I found this cozy motel at 3:00am in the morning when my car broke down. The AAA tow truck driver brought my car to a AAA auto service center and the Blue Mountain Motel was the closest motel available. This was fortuitous as the husband and wife team that manages the hotel make sure that all of the rooms are well-kept, decorated and quaint. It was also fortunate that I had enough cash to pay for a room. The next morning, a Sunday morning, no restaurant was open. The proprietors were gracious enought to prepare some toast for a tired, miserable soul such as me! Blue Mountain Motel richly deserves 5 stars for its warm, well kept, clean and decorated rooms and for its warm, down-home hospitality! I plan to fly back to Uniontown, PA, to pick up my car and stay at the Blue Mountain Motel again. I will post an update!”

“This is a definite hidden gem. We were able to have our breakfast while sitting on the patio overlooking the Youghiogheny River. The hotel is extremely clean. Our room overlooked the front of the building and it was quiet so it made for a great night of sleep. Staff was very friendly, especially the evening front desk employee on 7/12. She made us feel very welcome and you felt she was truly there to make your stay pleasant.”

“This place is really a hidden gem. Immediately upon arrival, we were created with Mrs. Lenora herself. She offered us lemon water and homemade cookies. Our room was amazing and super clean. The restaurant might be our new favorite place to eat. Food was unbelievably fantastic. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. Even the guests at the hotel was super easy to talk to and as friendly as they come (Heidi and John). We will be back in November for my daughter and husbands birthday. Loved it. Also, whoever wrote the 1 star review must be a serious Karen. There’s not one complaint about this place. Beth & Bernie Williams”

“I loved the house....sparkling clean and polished to perfection. We were a bike group of six, and had a very thorough welcome. Guido was terrific with assisting in bike adjustment and GAP trail tidbits. He made my life better by leveling my seat. He had all the necessary tools in the bike barn. When asked, we were given a selection of restaurants....we went to a wonderful local restaurant/bar. Lucy fixed an outstanding breakfast...a terrific way to start the day.”

“Only saw the outside but it looks cool and it is in a beautiful little town. The house sits right at the railroad tracks so I’m sure the noise sucks. The pricing seems extremely high at $500+ a night. But I would still love to stay there and then check out the town.”

“I stayed in the hotel AND hosted a class for our company in the meeting room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were super helpful at each turn. The place is clean, the parking lot is accessible, the location is great. The only negative I can give you is that the hotel is definitely aged. It's in good shape. But the conference room needs a 100% overhaul, and the rooms could use a little updating too.”
