“I am so happy we went here! I will try to make this as short as I can. The last time I purchased a vehicle was approximately 16 years ago so I was very hesitant. Just due to the fact that I was by myself at the time and I feel like the particular place took advantage of that. This time around I changed that for myself and I did a lot of homework and research about purchasing a car. I did make an appointment with Dayton. The night before I was reading about Jim Shorkey, why he started his business, etc. I found myself laying there getting all teary eyed because it hit me that we were going to the right place. Also the fact that they are consultants and not sales people and they don't work on a commission base meant the world to me. So we had to stop at the bank for a cashier's check for the down payment and they were so busy and that put us behind schedule about 45-60 minutes. I hate being late! So I was panicking, I called and let them know. Dayton kept reassuring me it was fine, he even told me that he put us in the schedule for 30 minutes later(I think he just told me that so I would feel better) The moment we walked in, I immediately felt like we were part of the family every staff member greeted us, there was 0 pressure for us to buy anything, Dayton was understanding, patient, kind the whole nine, and Ray the finance guy was fantastic, he took his time, explained everything so we could understand it , he even explained the difference between the two finance companies so we could make the best decision. This was the ABSOLUTE BEST car buying experience I have ever had! Thank You Todd Zuzak for highly recommending Jim Shorkey to us! Oh and they fed us pizza while we were there waiting!! I have never seen or heard of a car dealership doing that! We ended up buying a 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, I freaking LOVE my new car, I mean LOVE it. “Rudy is my guy. He was very straight about my questions and what the best options would be for me. I didn't feel intimidated by the whole buying process. Even though I was approved by my bank he didn't insist that I go through their lenders to see if I could get more money or a better rate. He understood what I was working with and he did the absolute best to get me what I needed. My daughter was also looking for a car at another dealership, she also had an approval and they insisted she go through them. Ran her credit, approved her then called and said she needed a cosigner when she already had money from her bank. Not only was he very personable and funny. He also made sure that while my bank was processing my loan that the car wasn't sold. If you don't have a down payment they won't hold the car at any dealership, which I didn't know but he did it on good faith that I was indeed getting the car. Not saying that's what they do because money is money and they're a business but for me I was treated like a friend and not just a customer. Definitely recommend 👌”

Salesman (Shawn) showed us a few different options, was very knowledgeable with all the different models, and most importantly for us, did not push to sell, we didn’t feel pressured into making any decisions & was able to feel comfortable in the decision we made. They offered a pretty big discount on my most recent service to compensate for the previous mistake, and stood by their word when it came time to check out. They even offered me a loaner car to use for free while my car had major work done (We had a trip planned and only have one vehicle). Highly recommend this dealership because of their professionalism & genuine concern for the customer. Tim & Brandon are fantastic and I've been going to them for years! 8/22: Garnet Volkswagen has had most of my business in the past, but they scratched up the paint on my custom wheels and never called me back to discuss. Not sure if the message was ever relayed to the Service Manager. I will continue going to Garnet VW because they have made things right in the past, but this is unacceptable. I will be calling again to discuss & see how this can get worked out. I offered to send photos, but no response or call back. Please reach out to resolve this.”
