“Made a trip to try Mama's Kitchen in Goodlettsville and I was not disappointed. The set up is cafeteria style. You walk in, get your silverware, tray and food then you find a seat. As soon as you sit you are greeted by staff to take your drink order. The food is fresh and cooked in smaller batches as to not dry out and lightly seasoned. A meat and three plus fruit tea cost me a little over $13. Considering the recent inflation of food prices, I think this is more than reasonable. The staff is welcoming, the food will warm your soul and you will leave satisfied. Check out their hours of operation on Google and go, just go.”

“Glad we came from Illinois and tried this delicious casual service spot. Had the BBQ shrimp burger and tenders (stop drop and roll) as entrees. We really enjoyed the delicious shrimp burger. I could have eaten the patty by itself to isolate the flavor. The stop drop and roll tenders were perfectly cooked - super spicy for my sister but mild to me. Fries and Mac & cheese were top notch. I liked the white beans! I couldn’t finish them with a full entree though, I would order the white beans alone or with another side as a meatless meal.”

“Words can't describe how great this food was. I ordered a Gyro Sandwich Combo with Fries and a drink along with a Combination Plate, which comes with rice and salad in addition to the Gyro meat and Chicken. The former for lunch was $7.99, the latter for dinner was $8.99, and overall just under $19 out the door. Let me tell you, it was worth EVERY penny. The Gyro Sandwich was MASSIVE. A huge pita pocket stuffed with Gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, black olives, feta and shredded cheese, jalapeno peppers, I could go on...and topped with cucumber sauce. It was so heavy, it weighed down the bag it was in. The fries were hot and crunchy and were the perfect compliment to the sandwich. Lunch was perfect. Five stars. As for the Combination Plate, you wanna talk about ginormous!!! I couldn't even finish my dinner, it was that much!!! Four juicy chicken tenders along with a generous portion of gyro meat over a mound of saffron flavored rice, one 7-8" pita bread cut into fourths and a mix of the three salads they had available, along with all the toppings I could ever ask for. Not only did I get more than my money's worth, it was flavorful and absolutely delicious. I'd give it more than five stars if I could. The establishment itself was nice and clean, organized and the service was phenomenal. I can't wait to go back for more!!! Thank you for making my lunch and dinner a heavenly experience!!!”

“Food was excellent. The cook put on a good show. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars, they didn't keep my tea glass full. Plus we had eaten most o our salad and soup, before we got our drinks. “We try to eat most every Friday afternoon at Liz's because they serve catfish nuggets,which are smaller pieces of their BIG slices of catfish. The food here is home cooked. Their broccoli salad is awesome! They have a special every day and a cafeteria bar or you can sit down and order. Food is always fresh and desserts are wonderful. Check it out. They serve breakfast and lunch every day except Saturdays when they are closed. Friday they are also open for evening meal. No other place quite like it.”
