“Amazing playground. Best playground we have ever visited. There was enough room for everyone to play and the variety of things to do made it easy for my kids to stay occupied. It's like a small amusement park. The zoo line and sand box was the best.”

“Veterans Park is a nice little area off of Main St. Rowlett. Our Troop did a service project where we repainted the Gazebo there. Good place to sit down and feel the quietness (after all the construction is over)”

“Sacred Heart was extremely helpful and supportive during this difficult time. We were listened too and there was great communication. They were compassionate and thorough as we went through what we wanted. We buried my dad there 17 months ago and now my mom 2 weeks ago. I highly recommend this place. The people are easy to talk to and they listen to what YOU are saying. Paige”

“Picnic table on tennis court is dangerous. The two benches are adequate and welcome. Two benches on the other court would be appreciated.”

“I love taking my beagle here when I’m in town, I’ve taken her a few times and the dogs and people have always been very friendly. Sometimes there the park is a little lonely but it may also be because I went around the winter season. But I would highly recommend this place to anyone with dogs! The evening (5pm-7pm) is probably a better time if you want your dog to socialize with other dogs.”

“There are soccer and baseball games there. There are 2 ponds for fishing. A concrete walk way around the large pond. There is a large gazebo with a volley ball court next to it. There are also grills and a playground next to the gazebo with a water view. The city keeps it mowed at all times. Also there are men and women's restrooms. A great place for the family to get out and enjoy a day at the park.”

“A good place that we like to take our dogs for a goid walk. Most if the time, there are few other people there so we enjoy a undisturbed stroll. Nice sidewalk for my wife, who sometimes needs to use her walker. Would be nice if the other people who bring their pets , would also pick up after them. Help keep it clean.”

“Yet to take kids. Every time I drive by it looks empty maybe cause there is no parking lot. Not sure about parking on street never see any cars parked there. 4 stars because it has shade for those hot and sunny days.”

“Great trail. Very easy. Lovely tree covered, wide walking area covered with crushed granite. The trail info says 1.3 miles but we could have kept walking. I'm not sure how much farther it goes.”

“It’s a great park to jog, walk your dog, or do anything outdoorsy. Been going here the past 5 years. Only after the rain is it a bit hard because it’ll flood and won’t dry up until a few days after. This picture is a jetski I pulled out a couple days ago; it’s still there as of 12/21/2019. Who knew you could treasure hunt here too.”

“A really good trail for beginner mountain bikers and more advanced riders alike. Loops 1-4 are mostly well shaded and built in a way that is fast and flow well. The more difficult loops have really fun features for the more confident riders.”
