“Probably the best thrift store in Denton. However, understand that 85% of the clothes are basically Target/Old Navy/Walmart quality and the prices are barely a few bucks below original cost. (Also it's ridiculous how rarely the changing rooms are open.) But if you're willing to dig you can find some nicer quality pieces for decent prices, just make sure you go early and know exactly what you're looking for.”

“I have read a handful of negative reviews in regard to the Denton GC. My experiences have not been bad at all. I found Nick, Isaac, and the others who I don’t know by name very helpful, friendly, and professional. I made a purchase of an item that was expensive for me but I didn’t take it out of the bag as I had been working 12-16 hours that week. When I finally got the item out, I realized it was an open box. I started to panic thinking that I had been done wrong and they would be unwilling to help. The store was closed at that time so I had to wait for them to open up again. When I returned to the store, it was very easy to make things right. They totally understood how I felt and helped correct the issue. I had to wait for a factory fresh device, but they took care of it and I was up and running 4 days later. I will not hesitate to shop at this location. It is smaller than many GCs but it is big on customer satisfaction. I gave 4 stars but that is only because they are a smaller store and don’t carry as much as others. If you are in a bind and need something immediately, you may have to travel.”

“Squeezed a stop to this quilt shop when passing through town on a work trip and it was the BEST decision. This eclectic shop had everything! Fabrics, kits, tools, books galore. I took with me as much as I could carry and look forward to ordering more online as soon as I finish a few of what I have. 😏 The owner was knowledgeable and passionate and just a joy to chat with while I shopped. “My band, grey star ghost, just finished recording and mixing our debut album with Michael at Civil Audio. Michael is professional and efficient with your time while still being personable and providing a relaxing atmosphere. He has a fantastic ear and will point out things from an outside perspective that will make your sound better. He's encouraging and complimentary while still at times letting you know if something could be better, which is incredibly valuable because you know that when he's happy with something you will be happy with it. In the mixing and mastering process he works quickly and addresses your feedback directly while also giving his perspective on what will sound best. It is truly a collaborative effort which to me produces the best results. I am super picky about the sound I'm going for and working with Michael, we were able to nail it. At the same time I would often use words like atmospheric, sound scapey, ethereal, dirty, and dark - which if I were in his shoes would drive me crazy - but he got it. If you're wanting a great sounding recording at a difficult to beat cost, you'd be hard pressed to top Civil Audio. We plan on going back for the next one.”

“A lovely old home converted into an antique store with many items to browse through. Very neat and well kept, and easy to look through without piles of items stacked all over the place. I especially enjoyed their 'Wizard of Oz' collectibles in the upper room and the pink tea room that reminds me of Umbridge's office from Harry Potter. “Such a nice store! I was immediately greeted by Kyle, who was so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to purchase two albums (on sale even!) which had been published in the early ‘80’s and had been on my wishlist for a long time. Most of the books I looked at were paperbacks, but they had a nice big variety of titles available. I almost missed the “more shopping” room at the back. They’ve got lots of cool, vintage posters and some collectibles. Like the Terminator, I’ll be back! Thanks much, Kyle, for the smiles. They were enjoyed and appreciated.”
