“I’m a coffee buff so I love trying new places. The Vanilla Latte had a good flavor, but the first couple of sips tasted kind of grainy like the coffee grains didn’t settle but after letting it sit for a few minutes it seemed to subside. I still gave them 5 stars though because I loved the environment and the staff was super friendly. Food was good too 😬”

“Great place to have a breakfast in the early morning. The soup dumpling tastes good but I recommend you to eat these dumplings will be even better for dine-in. The portion of Chinese traditional pancake is quite big for one person. Also, you can choose the level of spicy for your pancake. I really like their home-made soy milk. It has the right amount of sweetness for me. If you are the person that eat/drink so much sweet, then you wouldn’t be like this soy milk. They also sell a package of bun. You can steam them for your breakfast at your house. Nice people & good service”

Hubs ordered chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, plantains, cornbread, & sweet potato pie! Delicious! Mine was waaaaay better!???????? I enjoyed the oxtails over rice, mac n cheese, fried okra, & cornbread. Let's just say nothing was left! Bones were cleaned! The waitress was friendly and very convincing of which items she loved ❤ also. ???? Cynthia, chef/owner, is super sweet and let us try her key lime pie too. ???? “Great place. Burgers and sides are delicious, and a wonderful outdoor play area. Heaters for outside when its cool and just a good spot for families. Having visited most of the locations throughout Texas this Hat Creek has ample parking, a medium sized play area and plenty of seating.”

“My favorite Chinese place, the General Cho’s is amazing with the way they fry it to give it a little crunch!! The only thing I would change is the fried rice, it leaves much to be desired as it’s dry and scamp on egg and mixed veggies. You can order it with those things but it’s extra where others do not charge for that. Just a pea, chopped carrot, and egg bit in every few bites is what I think should be in there. I only order from Ling’s because of the quality of their meat dishes now, it’s a high recommend!!”

“Fried pickle tour: They're not bad, but they're not great. The pickles themselves have great flavor, the breading not so much. The ranch is alright. Teenager got the chuckwagon cheeseburger and loved it, particularly the bread. I got the sausage sandwich. It's a pretty standard barbeque sausage sandwich, which is not a bad thing. Their barbecue sauce has a little sweetness, which I enjoy. The overall feel of the restaurant is definitely meant to be Old West. It's cute. We came outside of the rush hours, so it's pretty quiet, but several people did come in to pick up orders, so I'd venture it can be a pretty busy place. We'll definitely come again, even if we won't order the fried pickles.”

“We discovered Tad’s on Christmas Eve because not much was open. We ordered some food to go, and it was absolutely amazing! We came back a few weeks later and sat at the bar to eat our food. Kayla was wonderful! She made great drinks and suggested some super yummy food for us to order. Our conversation with Kayla was good, and the atmosphere was nice. Since then, Tad’s has become our go-to place! The specials are really good, and the food has not disappointed us yet. We came here after my son’s graduation with a huge group of friends and family last week. It was steak night. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and everyone was impressed with the quality of the food. The service was fantastic. They really took care of us and made my night son’s night super special! We are so happy that we found Tad’s! Thanks, Kayla, for always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and have a great experience!”
