“I love this place. It’s huge, largest variety of equipment I have seen at a fitness center. The machines are well taken care of, the place is always clean, everything works, and the staff is attentive and friendly. They even have two Jacobs ladders which In my opinion are the best equipment for overall fitness available. Daycare staff is also great and the hours are really good throughout the week and even during the weekend. I have brought my 3 year old and he always has a great time while I’m working out. The price of the memberships and week passes are very affordable and worth it for what you get. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody.”

“Moved to Galveston the first of the year, and I have lamented the lack of edible Chinese food on the island. We ventured to Texas City today and before we left, I used Google Maps to find all the Chinese restaurants in the area. Found and chose this one based on the recent reviews. They did not steer us wrong on this! First, it is in a non-de script shopping center that doesn't look too inviting. Nevertheless, we entered and due to the time of day, all of the help were eating lunch, so I felt a little guilty interrupting. They invited us in and made us feel welcome. It's a fairly small dining room with probably around a dozen tables. They also appear to do a pretty good takeout business as well. Anyway, after being seated, our waiter was a boy (son of owner) about 10-11 years old. He was masked, polite, and professional. He knew all about the food as well, with good descriptions as well! Since it was a little before 3pm they were still running off the lunch menu, even on a Saturday! I ordered General Tso chicken with WonTon soup, and my wife ordered the Coconut Shrimp and Spring Roll. The food came out in less than 10 minutes both Hot and FRESH! Everything was perfect with no complaints on anything. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed, including refills. VERY impressed with his maturity and professionalism! When I paid, I was assured that he kept all of the tip. Got extra from us...and we will return. I took a photo of my plate as an after thought, and still had it on macro, so the quality is lacking. But, as you can see, for a combo lunch...there is a LOT of food!”

“The staff was beyond friendly. Everyone that passed us in the hallway would address my mother by name. They were always happy to make sure that she was included in all of the activities or there to fulfill her requests. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay while there and made a tremendous amount of progress with her therapy. Also, I want to give a compliment to the HR and Transportation departments. I met a few ladies (I believe that one of their names was Alex) at the local taco truck and they were exceptionally nice when I gave compliments about their employer. If I could just say one big thank you to everyone that helped Lois while she was there. From the nurses, to the auxiliary staff, everyone was helpful. Again, thank you. If my mother was happy, so am I.”

“Nice new gas station in Friendswood. Took FOREVER to build and open but in the end it’s convenient and well stocked. Very nice and organized inside. Prices are high almost $3 for a large fountain. Gas prices are reasonable for the area.”

“MOMMA LYNN! THANK YOU! My 1st time eating here and definitely won't be the last! I showed up at 2:15PM on a Tuesday. I ordered and she let me know it was going to take about 20 mins [freshly cooked]. It smelled so good while waiting outside, reminded me of home. I got the small portion [1] Fried Pork chop meal, comes with 2 sides, I choose Mac and cheese and cornbread dressing. Can't go wrong with Mac. The chop was fried crispy, juicy perfection. Cornbread [stuffing] dressing was baked this morning and delicious. Mac had a generous topping of melty cheese 🧀. My wife got the fried chicken small portion [3 piece] wings and drums. Momma Lynn tried a new batter on these and it was nice, crispy, just the right amount of spice, maybe a tad bit on the salty side but very delicious. Maybe my taste buds aren't used to the saltiness anyways everything was awesome! Momma Lynn will make your tummy full and your heart melt! Such a sweet lady so get up and go support her! I needed this meal more than she'll ever know! ❤️🙏😇 Thanks Again Momma Lynn”

“This place was a welcome surprise. Seriously good food and original recipes. Was playing dope 80's and 90's ballads the whole time, they have karaoke and communal bar seats to have easy conversations. The staff was good and courteous. Will definitely be going back! Catch us at karaoke on Sundays!”

“I don't know if i'm "the only one" but I'm a BOOMER - which means my Parents physical needs have changed as they have aged and they are living on a "fixed" income. When my Dad was hospitalized I realized that a bathroom (handicap) rennovation was inevitable. I hired a contractor to do most of the cosmetic work, but when it came to changing the existing "bathtub drain" to accommodate the installation of a "walk-in" shower drain (who knew they were going to be different??), I called Buddy's Plumbing. The challenge of changing out the existing plumbing was more difficult due to a "re-leveling" of that corner of the home that had been done 3 years prior, and concrete surrounded the plumbing making it extremely difficult to make the pipe size change. These guys came in, jack-hammers and all...and within 4 hours had the work done, the debris cleaned up and were out of there! Pricing was in line with the job and they were highly responsive when I called a few weeks later to ask about drainage/flow/exit. They suggested that we call the City (which we did) and saved us quite a bit of money as the issue was on the city side, not on my parents property. I'm sure they tell everyone to do this as it seemed like a normal conversation. Turned out they were right! Honest, reliable, and fair. Will most definitely use them again in the future.”
