“Going through a process of grief and loss, I didnt think I would be able to handle this process alone. However Ariana and Earnest made this entire process easier with their compassion and their attention to detail with the wishes of my father. I felt more calm and less stressed with making sure everything came out flawless as they took care of everything for me and my family. I will forever hold them dear to my heart for helping honor my father's last wishes and making my mother feel more at ease with everything. Thank you to both of them!”

“For funeral needs, I suggest that you meet with Rick Bennett, the Family Service Counselor at Forest Park Westheimer. He will guide you every step of the way to meet your needs. I found him very experienced, professional and helpful. I really appreciate that he took the time to answer all of my questions about pre-planning a funeral.”

“Beautiful park to run at. It is also a great location for cyclists. On road and off road cyclists will enjoy the park. Only giving it 4 stars due to a friend of mine having their window broken and possessions stolen. Overall a great experience everytime. Playground for kids along with a duck pond. Also the occasional rabbits running around. Would highly recommend”

“My mother passed away in San Antonio, but was celebrated and buried here in Houston at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery/Funeral Home. They stepped up and took care of every step along the way from transporting her body to the final burial. This was the first death in our family. Stacy, Tracey and Estela held our hands along the way. They worked very hard to make things just right for my mom’s service and burial. It was just lovely thanks to their kindness and genuine concern. I highly recommend this place and staff.”

“Nice small park, parking is under westpark tollway. No restrooms there, play area for kids. No water fountains and during the summer not many large trees for shade a long the pathway.”

“Our favorite park in Houston. It is cozy, clean and inviting. This park was in our backyard for years. We no longer live in the neighborhood. Miss walking my dog by and hanging out with my family in the park. We still visit whenever we can.”

“Great place for group picnics.”

“Easily our favorite park to visit. The large walking trail is great for walking yourself while your fur baby gets all of their energy out. There are two large "lakes" on either side of the park and separate areas for large and small breed dogs. They have wash stations outside of the gates so you can spare the interior of your car, just don't forget to bring a towel!”

“I have to be honest and say that I was surprised to know that I don't have to drive hours to be close to nature, it was super comfortable the place, we had a little picnik and families were fishing there.”

“The most important thing to know when coming here is to DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE. IF YOU DO PEOPLE WILL BREAK INTO YOUR VEHICLE, and FIND WHERE YOU HID THEM. DON'T BE STUPID AND THINK IT WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU. IT'S NOT IF......IT'S A MATTER OF WHEN. And if you have left stuff in your vehicle, and nothing has happened yet. Then you have been very fortunate. ** The park is only as safe as you make it. Don't be a victim. Don't bring cash, credit cards, social security cards,or anything you don't want to disappear. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS and you should be fine. AGAIN if you FAIL TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE and your vehicle gets broken into, don't look for a Pity party for your own stupidity. For Christ sake it's Houston people and not the best surrounding area of town. Great place just make sure you do not leave valuables in your car, at this park unless you want them to disappear. Playgrounds for the kids. Do not enter the park before 7AM and after 10PM, as you run the risk of a large even when the gates are still open. The ticket is $300.”
