“I enjoyed JJ's Corner immensely! After tasting some fries, which were tasty, I had the Catfish Alexandra (with a side of fries because...why not!), and it did not disappoint! The sauce was so flavorful that it made the bed of rice its own meal! This is a very spacious, nicely arranged establishment. I went on a Friday, there was no cover, no fee to park, and the DJ played the perfect mix of 90s, Blues, Rap, and R&B. There was never a dull moment. The patio party vibe was even more vibrant than the slightly more reserved atmosphere on the inside. I will mention that during my visit, the "specials" pricing was not up-to-date. They were handwritten on ad-board so can easily be updated. Confirm the true price of your selection when placing an order to avoid any surprises. The actual cost of my meal was not outrageous and totally worth it. It just minimizes confusion and enhances the customer experience when information is accurate. I certainly believe those who enjoy a night out of good music, food, and a mixed aged crowd should add JJ's Corner to their "places I want to go" list, and check them out! The earlier your arrival, the better your parking choice, as with most places. Friday's are free.....that means Saturdays are likely not 🙃😉.”

They have really reasonable prices and even have snow cones available those hot summer months here in Texas. I did try the sugar-free snow cone flavors and I was not impressed with that at all however the radio one seem to be good from the couple I have tried. The food has some really great flavor to it and you can tell that even though it comes from a small place it is a good quality. They do have the small fried items for those quick meals on the go and they have a decent selection of basic convenience store items. If you're tired of the traditional fast food places and want something fast and different I would recommend trying this place out.”

Quaint and quiet, room enough for a large gathering of no more than 50 assuming the restaurant is empty which it was at the time of my visit. All sushi rolls are made on the spot to order and expertly done Food: The "Oceans Eleven" roll is super yummy. 8 total pieces with some beautiful salmon topping the roll. The "Naurto Roll" is amazing and to die for The "Crazy roll" is a super delicious fried roll. Careful! Let it sit a bit before you eat else that roll my burn your tongue a bit (temperature wise I mean) Over all, super friendly professional mom and pop type staff. I would HIGHLY recommend.”

“This was my first time coming here and overall it was a great experience. I was greeted by the most friendly and polite host. I am big on customer service and based off that plus the food and atmosphere this is the best pizza joint in the area! Very clean, and has a mom-pop feel. No restroom or dine-in but they are one of the few places that still offer deals/coupons and fair prices post-pandemic/national price increases. “The service is hands down one of the best we experienced while in the area. They also had vegan options available, so I was able to try soy chicken for the first time. Thankful I listened to the server and took a chance on the soy chicken because it was delicious. My husband ordered the orange chicken with regular chicken, and he loved that the batter wasn't thick like at other places. There aren't any dairy free desserts, so that would be the only down side but my husband loved what he ordered. If we visit the area again we'll definitely be back!”

“One of the best hidden gems I've found is now a favorite to go to places. I was craving some Italian; I decided on this one after having looked at a few in the area. I'm recommending to friends and family. Tortellini Arrabiata is my favorite dish; tortellini with a medium thick spicy sauce with tons of mushrooms; hits the spot every time; it is not on the menu, but I found a picture of the plate, and the cooks were and have been nice in making the dish for us everytime we come in. The fried pork chops are the best I’ve ever had. Cabbage will never be the same. I don’t know how they make everything taste so good. However, I am committed to continuing to enjoy their food whenever I can! You should definitely eat here. It’s worth the drive to taste their food. And the new location is much better than the previous one.”
