“Cool cars! Not much of a “museum” necessarily but fun to check out regardless. Wish they had someone more available to answer questions or guide through, as there’s not much signage, but they were happy to explain when you went over and asked. Hard to find - go down the driveway to the back buildings.”

And the elves are such a cute touch. Thank you for giving our community such a nice and safe activity for the children and the young at heart.”

“Loved this cute little coffee museum. Patrick gave us a historical tour, which was very interesting. Patrick’s mother grew up on a coffee farm in Kenya. The history is very interesting. They are also currently building across the hall a coffee and beverage shop with period themes. The shop is in a refurbished flour mill. They are also having a lovely mural painted on the side of the old silos. Great place for a fun stop. They also have a cute little side of the shop with gifts. Thank you Patrick.”

“The guided tour provided so many details of the family history, along with the early days of the city. They were very patient with our grandchildren, and answered ALL of their questions (and questions my husband and I had). In addition to touring the main house, which is beautiful, we walked the property on a nature trail which had so many other structures (old barn, chicken coupes, stables, a log cabin, etc.). They also showed the kids some things that the kids in that time would have done, including teaching them how to play jacks. The kids loved it! It was a great experience for all of us, and I highly recommend it!”

“These guys have been around a while and are proficient in many areas of exhibit design, build, and install. Not to mention they service what they build. This is a very creative group of guys who have shown character and professionalism throughout our build process. From Steve in sales, to Robert our project manager, and of course Phil the owner, we have had some of the best involved in several projects with our museum. They are not perfect and would admit that, but they do what they say they will do. We will absolutely use them again in the future.”

“We visited for the first time during a birthday party and my kiddos had so much fun!! Definitely a place where your kiddos can use their imagination, and have a ton of fun playing. The floor plan is very open so you can see your child at any PlayStation no matter where you stand/sit. The person who was working tonight was really kind, acknowledged us promptly when we walked in and was helpful throughout the event. We will definitely be back to play again!”

“We weren't able to view inside the houses, because they were closed. But it was still nice to look at each house and read the informative plaques. Can't wait to come back when we can see the insides.”

“We had the most informative and educational tour with Dr. Wood, the Museum Director and a leading member who oversees the dinosaur dig at the Hanson Ranch in Wyoming. It was so fascinating to see a working lab and learn how dinosaur fossils were excavated and preserved. Dr. Wood walked us through where they found the bones and what they think might had happened to those dinosaurs. He then took us to where they store the fossils and literally pulled out the trays from the locker with all the bones - mostly teeth, vertebrae, limb bones from upper Cretaceous dinosaurs, and we were able to see two well kept and restored triceratop skulls and jaws. This experience is beyond words!! I think this might actually be my first time touching actual dinosaur fossils. I would highly recommend anyone to go and see for themselves. The museum right now is by appointment only. Make sure to call or contact them before you go.”

“Really cool museum, located in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce. It's packed full of all kinds of interesting history from the town/county. Would have given 5 stars, however, there were some digital learning aspects we would have loved to interact with, especially our child, unfortunately the TV's were either not turned on or they were broken. I was also disappointed that several areas of the museum were very dark, there was overhead lighting in these areas, but again no power or broken. It is self touring, so going at your own leisure was definitely a plus. Great opportunities for learning, especially for Texas state history/homeschool.”

“Pat gave us a wonderful tour of the beautiful museum last Saturday. We walked up to the front door just as she was preparing to leave for the day. She greeted us with a smile and invited us to come in. I'm looking forward to visiting the museum again in the near future. Thank you, Pat for a most interesting and informative tour of the museum.”

“Amazing—way better than expected! Well worth the drive from the DFW area and beyond. I’m not sure how I was unaware of this for so long. I thought this was going to be a few place with a few vehicles and some historical items inside. This is a full-scale museum comprised of four metal buildings and outside vehicles behind the owner’s place. If you have any interest in military history, seeing historical items, military artwork, weapons, or vehicles, this is well worth a visit. The number of significant family military heirlooms is surprising. Most items from WWII forward but some WWI items. The tour he gave was a spectacular history lesson. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will take others there. This would be great for showing history to families, organizations like scout troops, school classes, and others. Admission is free but we left a donation. The owner and others involved clearly have invested significant resources of time and money.”

“This should be called Historic Jail of Caldwell County. Although it is a museum, there are many artifacts just hanging around and jail in upper floors is mostly intact like the way it was when someone was last there. Very creepy but fun to see. This jail should be used today for those that are not scared of going to jail. The caretaker said that he here’s knocks here and there. Boo!!”
