I took my father fishing on one of the trips and we were both catching one Redfish after another the entire trip. It was the best fishing trip my father or I have ever been on. Brennan teaches you what to look for and how to catch the fish. He is patient and just have a blast with him. He is the only guide I will use at this point and have fished with 6 other guides in the area. I have caught multiple limits of fish with him and have learned so much. If you book him you will never use anyone else. I cant say enough about this young man or his work ethic. I cant wait until the next trip!”

“Our group was 6 people. 4 of our 6 riders were first timers. We rode in pairs and singles. We had 4 skis for 2hrs and everyone had plenty of time to drive and to ride. It was awesome. 20 minutes later we were on the water SAFELY flying up and down the river. The skis were nothing but fun, no problems or issues. Our Epic experience went just as planned. Amazingly, everyone was on time including the ski provider. Drop off and pick up was smooth and easy. We had a great day on the water and made plans for the next trip before we were even dried off. If you're not sure, DO IT!”

“Love this place! I board my horse here and the location allows me to see him 1-2 times a day. My horse loves all of his pasture buddies and the great care that he receives from all of the staff members here. The atmosphere is very laid back, encouraging and drama free. There are trails that make for relaxing trail rides right across the street and theres almost always someone from the barn going out that you can tag along with. If you're looking to board your horse as close to home as possible, this is your place!”

“If you are an experienced rider and do not have horses of your own and want to go somewhere that has horses that will actually listen and perform beyond the typical nose-to-tail, and you want a little more freedom in your ride, then this is the place for you! You will NOT find another stable in 300 miles that will give you the freedom and responsibility that Silver's Trails will. However, if you are completely inexperienced, then you are in the best of hands, both horses and owners. But this is not your typical trail-ride. The horses will walk leisurely nose-to-tail if desired, but they will also do pretty much whatever you ask them without any arguing. Most trail horses have been dumbed down and trained to stay on the trail at a walk no matter what, for the safety of young ones. Understandable. With the liability comes limitations. Silver's Trails has eliminated that liability by not allowing riders under 17 on the trails. If you are expecting large pristine barns, go elsewhere, this is a small operation that is meant to cater to a special crowd, and the price is beyond fair. You would pay more than double elsewhere for such a privately-catered ride. ENJOY!”

Water and snacks were provided.The whole crew was super friendly and nice. They were having a good time so we were lucky enough to get extra time. They took time to explain sailing, history of the area, point out dolphins and take pictures for our group. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants a relaxing way to enjoy the water.”

“Excellent spot to bring your own tubes and enjoy the river with your family. Recommend for: families and individuals on day trip who want to enjoy one spot or float. Pros: inexpensive, excellent spot on the river, parking right on the river, van rides up river for float trips. We visited this Jerry’s at the end of June 2023. We chose not float the river because it was low only 52 CFM. Tubing when it’s this low requires a lot of rock hoping which we weren’t up for. This spot was perfect. We hung out in the deep water above the bridge, floated through the chute and floated down river a little through some rapids. It was beautiful, we saw a large soft shell turtle and a broad banded water snake a long with great views of old cypress trees and the limestone cliffs. It cost us $20 to park for the day and Jerry’s offers all your basic needs in the store, drinks, shoes and any other basics you need.”

“My friend and I and our sons had a great time staying at the Country Woods Inn! The South wing of the Prairie House was perfect for the 4 of us and our boys loved how close we were to the river where they could swim and slide down into the water. We enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit and had smores one night. The hammock was a great addition for the boys and they spent lots of time there. The petting zoo area was fun with all the bunnies and Wendy cooked a delicious breakfast on Saturday morning! We were about 5 minutes from everything we wanted to do! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for the kids, but also close to town and swimming. Wendy even found our stuffed animal we left behind right after we left and immediately let us know, so we could go back and get it. Top notch service!”
