“We spent our anniversary here and to say we were overwhelmingly pleased would be an understatement! Everyone was incredibly accommodating, executed on all of my requests to have champagne on ice ready upon arrival in the room and they put rose petals and chocolates and candles in our room while we were having dinner... the in-room massages were incredible and the bar/lounge area was a welcome surprise to give a more social feel to the place. The waiters and bartenders were so friendly and you could tell they were all about "the customer"... I will 100% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway, with great views, and a highly accommodating staff to do the same. Jonathan”

“Great spot on the water, very crowded on the weekends. Camping is missing well maintained fire pits and playground needs maintenance. Bathroom with running water is far from the camping so most likely you will depend on portable toilets. Camping is mostly out in a big field with few trees.”

“This is one of the only places in this area to get an amazing sunset view, and you don't even need to hike very far. You can park at the top if you follow Blue Mountain Road to the visitors center. It's 3 dollars donation to park, but it goes to a good cause and you can avoid hiking uphill. They also have a primitive camping area near the parking lot. The castle also doubles as a hostel for long distance hikers.”

“Amazing! Full spacious suite with cathredral ceilings, full kitchen, and sitting area that goes out to a balcony overlooking the beautiful view. Completely quiet. You enter through a covered walkway that separates the retreat from the main house through its own entrance...so if you are looking at the picture of the house, the whole left side is the retreat. Really great kitchen if you want to cook...we could only take one night away from our kids, but I think this would be perfect for a multinight stay to go explore the vineyards, breweries, and nature. Uber does come here as well.”
