They have started offering LUNCH SPECIALS starting at $6.95 and for people in the area, we know that this price is a no brainer these days with food prices on the rise. Plus the serving wasn't bad at all. I got the chicken & broccoli fried rice with 2 wings and honestly it's good for 2 regular appetite people or 3 people on a *low* carb diet. Surprisingly the food didn't taste too horrible either. It was "good". Don't expect Desi Bethak taste because for what you pay, it's actually worth getting for lunch. “I have only positive things to say about my experience eating here. I was not staying at the Hilton but was in the area with a friend and we decided to have some lunch. We ordered the Southwestern Nachos to start and they were INCREDIBLE. The portion was huge. The queso hit me on first bite. Best I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was super flavorful too. Next I tried the Farmhouse Burger. I asked for no egg. It was divine. The caramelized onions were so delicious and the burger was cooked excellently. Even the fries were great- perfect amount of salt! The service was also a part of the positive experience. Our server, Kripa, was kind and did her job well. Would go again for sure to try the flatbreads, fried chicken sandwich, and the desserts!!! Last, there are of lot of seating options. Five out of five!”

“Great location for lunch with a group of friends or family! The price is not too bad for all you can eat ($32/person, minimum 2 people). Really nice ambiance and decorations. Tons of meat options including squid, octopus, shrimp, beef, pork and chicken. The only odd thing was that they gave us 8oz Kirkland plastic water bottles when we asked for water. They have red cups available for fountain sodas so I'm not sure why they insisted on giving us such a tiny bottle of water. We had to ask 3x for extra water.”

“Our friends love coming here so they had a celebratory group lunch with about 10 people. It was about 2 PM and the restaurant was not very crowded, making for easy conversation. I didn’t interact much with staff, but could tell they really value their regular customers like our friends, as they offered to take pictures of the group and knew already what our friends would order. I thought that was sweet. Our food was good, although my husband and I had pretty simple orders. Chicken tenders and fries were great and crispy, and the caprese pizza was also good. The Caesar salad was good but so big and put on a small plate! Haha. I also got pink lemonade on a whim and it was seriously delicious. Everyone at the table seemed satisfied with their orders as well, ranging from cheesesteaks to Greek salads and bowls.”

“Delicious fried chicken! We ordered the half and half with plain and soy garlic sauce (and extra hot sauce on the side). The chicken is crispy and juicy, and the sauces are good (though I find the soy garlic sauce a tad too sweet, just personal preference). Cole slaw is normal creamy kind, nothing to complain. The staffs are also very nice and attentive.”

“We found this place in Google and decided to try it because we were getting a big bored by the usual Korean BBQ and tofu houses in this area. We were pleasantly surprised by its quality and affordability. Granted that this is more a noodle house than a full-fledged restaurant, it is a great place to have lunch or dinner without having to take a second mortgage. Being Chinese ourselves, we have not been impressed by Korean Jjajangmyeon before. However, we do like the version this restaurant offers. The fried dumplings are also quite special. Will certainly go back and try more dishes.”

“A hidden treasure, this small restaurant is located inside the H-Mart. Very delicious food as well as a wide variety of authentic Korean Dishes. “I've only had good experiences, and have ordered from here around 6 times in the past 3 months. They have some nice variety, with pizza, wraps and sandwiches, and pasta. They're also fast. They're my go-to takeout place in the area. I order through the website, and have not had any problems. Their truffle porcini pizza was good. Their chicken parm sub was good. Their wings have a great texture, and I really appreciate that they've always accommodated me when I ask for flat wings. Their chicken philly sub was only ok. I won't order that again. Their chicken gyro was good. Their garlic knots and spinach rolls were good. I think that's all I've tried. And I would order everything again (except that chicken philly). Of note, the inside is pretty bleh. It kinda smells, and as a previous reviewer noted, it seems to be operated by a bunch of teenagers. Also, when I order through the website, their desserts are always out of supply. But, I will definitely order from here again.”

“**This is a review in regards to ordering through their website for take-out. Their website was easy to navigate and place an order. The one thing I did not like was that after you place the order it will say something like 'pick in x minutes'. I'm watching the page waiting for the time to go down, or show an estimated time that my order would be ready. I realized after about 10 minutes that the website does not show real time updates. Just something to keep in mind since most websites allow you to view real time the status of your order. I ordered the veggie green curry which I was initially turned off by when I saw it because it was very pale compared to other green curries I've had. It was good despite the odd color, but not the best I've ever had. It wasn't nearly spicy enough for me, so I know for my next visit I'll have to ask for extra spice. I also got the veggie dumplings. I appreciate that these dumplings are handmade as opposed to restaurants that use frozen processed dumplings. I was only in the restaurant briefly to pick up my food but the interior was attractive. In the future I will probably dine in person since the bar seems to have a nice collection, but I am unlikely to order take out again.”

I ordered the lamb kebabs over rice which I'm not a big fan of rice eating outside at restaurants so it was very light which I was okay with and the lamb kebab was very well done as I asked to be well done and it was very juicy on the side of a non. Very Quick Meal. My cousin in the other hand had garlic naan with spinach which had potatoes or chicken inside it but you can whichever you want. “Today was our first time at Môtier and I can’t say enough good things about it. The bistro is romantic and charming, with tables inside and out. “Really great Korean style fried chicken fast food joint. They have a variety of dressings and sauces to fit a number of flavor profiles. All are tasty, most are spicy. We also tried the calamari, and it was fantastic. The service was quick and polite. They also offer alcoholic drinks that sounded pretty cool, but we were not there for that this evening. Value for dollar was right on. We spent around $30 for two plates that filled us up, with some left over for the kids. If you like Korean food, fried chicken, or both, you have to try these guys!”

“Food was good, service was terrible. Went last night, a Friday night at about 7 and it wasn't too busy. We got seated immediately but noticed we didn't get a drink menu. Tried waiting to see the waitress but that was not happening so my husband walked up to the hostess stand and grabbed one. Came back to the table and noticed there was no beer on that menu. Waitress finally came so we asked her. It took awhile and what we could guess is they only had one and it was at a different table. Appetizer and food delivery were slow too. Thankfully both my husband and my daughter liked their wings. My daughter got the traditional with medium sauce. She sometimes goes with mild as she's not into too spicy and she liked the medium, she said it was not too spicy. My husband got the baked wings with two different flavors and he said they were good. He said the flavors of the sauce were good but the stars for heat were generous. I got the Philly cheese steak and it and the fried were good. The only reason we were not more annoyed by the super slow service was because they had live music, Shane Hines, and wow was he good!! We will be back because my family likes wings and they liked these and we live close by. As with any restaurant, service is hit or miss and for us I'd still give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe next time would be better.”

“Just returned to J. Gilbert’s for lunch after a hiatus of many years and was very pleasantly surprised. Despite the older atmosphere (dark, sequestered), the restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Service is excellent. Lunch sandwiches are superior — a perfect balance between fillings, topping and bread add up to an outstanding dining experience. We tremendously enjoyed the Reuben (the best we’ve had recently, delis included) and the French dip. Some say that sandwich making is an art, and J.Gilbert’s proves the adage. This establishment appears to have carefully developed its sandwich recipes and prepares them with distinction.”
