“So excited to be getting a custom pair of boots! More like going to a tailor than a shoe store, excellent experience! From the nice drive to the incredible shop to the authentic 100 year plus machinery to Steve himself- and all his knowledge- it was quite a trip! The choices of leather, colors, heels, heights, cuts, stitching patterns- it's like going to Willy Wonka's factory!”

“Not one of the best state parks in the state, but certainly not the worst. The modern feel of the park is a very interesting and well executed take on the style of parks we know and love. The inclusion of both English and Native American history on the land is highly appreciated and a nice touch. The Timberneck House could use a little love and the trails are a bit lacking, but all in all a solid 9/10 park.”

“Been here in Virginia for about 5 years. We looked at schools throughout the area. The biggest problem with a lot of Martial Art schools is that they are in it for the money. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy are excellent and very family oriented. You can definitely see their passion for teaching Tang Soo Do and jiu jitsu. My three daughters and I look forward going to class every week!”

“Went there this morning for breakfast. Upon seating was asked by a great server, Tara. Whom brought our drinks and oversaw our eating experience with care and making sure both of us were well cared for. I'd ordered a "bankers" special. (Consisting of 2 eggs, home fries, sausage and English Muffin.) Companion ordered the Southern Belle (2eggs, home fries, toast, and Country Ham) Both meals, were EXCELLENT.. Well proportioned and cooked with care... All I can and will say by being local guide, this diner is the place to check out. Whether by locals or travelers. Well worth the trip. Will return most definitely. Congrats and we'll deserved. Jon”

“My experience here was awesome! First let me say... I am the kind of person that doesn't really like going to any type of doctor, but I have put off going to an eye doctor for years because the appointments are always very long and hard for me to sit through. However, after seeing Dr. Wilcox I will most definitely be back and I am going to have my husband and children come as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and able to have normal conversations while working. He made me feel like a normal person and even had me laughing quite a bit. His staff was also personable and friendly! I can not recommend this place enough!! Thank you for all that you and your staff do! See you again soon!”

“My car recently broke down on the main street of the town of Gloucester & Marks towing was recommended by a local resident who was trying to assist me. Not only was he quick to respond to my unexpected car issue, he also gave practical advice for not towing my car all the way back to Richmond Va, he called a local auto body shop to assist me with my car as well. Highly recommend.”

“Kiera was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so grateful I got to work with her. I can't imagine what my pregnancy, labor/birth, and postpartum experiences would have been like without her. Her support, suggestions and resources completely blew me away - I couldn't believe my anxiety about the birth seemed to evaporate in the days leading up to it rather than increase. Kiera gently guided me through my fears and a sense of calm replaced the anxiety - it seriously felt magical. Her guidance and support through labor and the birth were exactly what I needed - it's as simple as that. It didn't stop there - the support and resources, including another in-home visit, kept coming for several weeks after the birth and it was just so much fun having so much contact with her! She's just the best! When I first learned what a doula even was several years ago, I heard it described as "your birth angel " - Kiera was exactly that and more!”

“Got stuck in the mud flats. Made hot milk and clam soup (8600 calories of deliciousness). “We got a runner.” PG and Eddie are incredible. PG taught us 2 of the 7 ways to find a clam. Eddie didn’t laugh when we got stuck. Shaun was there too. -1/5 of a star because we weren’t allowed to drive the skiff #skiffinaround. It was an honor to visit the filming location of “The Lifestyles of the Wet and Muddy.” I got an autograph from a sea hare. The diva of the deep bit my toe. We saw an osprey catch a fish - neat! We held our pee for 7 hours - not as cool! The wind - a lot of it. Got some sick windburn. Some of the local bachelors mentioned our rosy cheeks - jokes on them, that’s sunburn baby. At dredge-o-clock we dropped that bad mamma jamma, and the dredging cousins founded the dredging dynasty. All in all, it was a real treat. VIMs is great. Glad I’m no longer stranded in the Bracks -because in the tidal creeks, it’s everyone for themselves. #AldiGang”
